The PM PrepCastReviews of project-management-prepcast.com

Very wide range of questions. Not always the answers’ rationals are consistent (rare exceptions). The timed questions mix (when not set by yourself) is highly unbalanced towards process domain that doesn’t match with exam mix. It should be corrected urgently to ensure robust similarity with PMP exam.

The PM PrepCast is a very good resource for preparing for the PMP certification. I attended the GK bootcamp, and for my exam preparation, I used PrepCast as well as Rita Mulcahy's 10th edition book, pocket prep & the PMBOK Guide + Agile Manual. I purchased the exam simulator but I honestly did not really utilize it. I took one of the simulated exams before my exam. I felt inadequate going into the exam because I did not pass the simulation, but I passed my PMP exam above target in all the domains. I will say taking the quizzes instead of the exam simulation was more beneficial for me. Thank you PrepCast for all you do.

I wish there was a way to do practice test/timed quiz etc only for agile. I could not find it. BTW: I passed in my first attempt, well above AT in all 3 areas. I did only 1 full length test because of time issues. Did lots of timed quiz and learning quizzes.

The training presentation is well structured and well organized. it's goes smoothly and I enjoy learning in this journey.

The simulator is fantastic, and the explanations for the questions and their right and wrong answers are spot on. I learned so much using this tool and I legitimately believe it is the reason I passed the PMP. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because this simulator still focuses on processes and ITTOs more than the real exam. The current exam is ~80% agile/hybrid and required no math and no memorization of processes, process groups, ITTO's, etc. Almost every single question was a matter of "what should the PM do next?". If PrepCast shifts in that same directly, it will be perfect.

I used the practice exams, but not the rest of the course. Practice tests were a key part of my study strategy. PrepCast's exam engine is pleasant and easy to use; I used the study mode where the correct answer and reference material are shown immediately after you answer each question. Used this mode almost exclusively with customized small batches of questions that could be taken and reviewed in short study sessions. There were only a few off answers where I'd debate the answer provided. Questions were not as weirdly worded as the ACP test questions, but were very helpful in cementing the concepts and ideas needed for the exam. PrepCast also provided an interesting informatic that corelated practice scores with the pass ratios for prior exam takers. Very helpful. Passed the exam AT on all 7 domains. This study tool played a significant role in getting that score.

PM PREPCAST was lots of help to prepare me for my PMP. Covered most topics well. Agile topics presentations were a bit dated hence 4 from 5

The PM Prepcast was a vital tool for me passing the PMP. I would encourage many of my collogues who are looking to get PMP certified to use the product. If there was 2 things I would suggest: 1. Refresh the questions accordingly to keep up with the situational questions on the exam and 2. Update the simulator timing to imitate the breaks on the exam. Other than that, it was a great product!
