Horrible, they take your money and don’t pay out when something happens. We paid extra for our tools to be covered and they are trying to say that they won’t cover them because we can’t tell how the thieves got inside the truck, they treated us as if we are criminals even though we had proof from the police department showing the tools were stolen and arrest was made. They are crooks I don’t recommend ever using them for your business insurance we lost slot if money and they are refusing to cover what should be covered.

If I could give it negative stars I would. The absolute worst company ever. Upon reading the reviews here it is very similar situation and someone needs to look into this scam of a company. Definitely bait and switch. Quotes me one price for 6 months which was $583. I pay the initial payment and a few days later get asked about a no fault accident for my husband, I realize they are trying to raise my rate to include my husband in the policy so I remove him and then pay the remaining balance of my policy off. 2 months later I get a notice they canceled my policy due to nonpayment. When I call in they tell me even though I remove my husband from the policy I’m still held responsible for his accident and they raised my policy from $583 to $939. WITHOUT NOTICE. I Will NEVER do business with Progressive again. But after reading all of these reviews, it seems to be common practice for them. What a scam terrible company.

Tha Absolute worst. Paid for my insurance. Signed all documents, and completed checklist to receive all discounts. Even was with a direct contact through email. They canceled a week later and said I didn't provide proof of where I parked. No email, no letter, no heads up. I found out it had been canceled when I received a PARTIAL refund, $140.00 less than what it should have been. When I called they informed that that was all that I would be refunded. Worst insurance, worst customer service. NEVER AGAIN

I bought a 6 mo commercial policy from this carrier at a little over $700. Good deal right? Wrong. 20 DAYS after accepting the policy, Progressive supposedly wanted proof that a not at fault accident was truly not at fault. This is perplexing because I switched auto policies before and this accident never came up. They supposedly sent 3 letters asking for proof, none of which made it through the post. I received all other mail except progressive. No email was sent to me. I go to pay my bill, and it says I owe $676 for just 2 MONTHS because they assumed it was an at fault accident. Nobody on the phone was remotely close to helpful. Oh, and even if I did receive the mail, progressive takes 8 BUSINESS DAYS to process any document. I submitted the proper paperwork once I found out, yet it was too late before the deadline. I truly have no words regarding this experience. Don’t walk away from them, RUN.

Had Progressive Commercial for my van for years at a very reasonable rate and then suddenly they tripled the yearly premium? I called them to find out why the change and some snotty rep told me that their records showed that I was at fault for an accident in a personal vehicle in 2020?? After asking which vehicle they were referring to? Rep named vehicle & I quickly informed them that I was the passenger in that vehicle and that we were the victims of a drunken driver smashing into us from behind on XMas eve, while coming back from church. Records show police arrested him! Snotty rep told me that I have to verify this by having SF email them a verification letter, reacting in disbelief? I had SF send letter and they got the letter right away, but still refused to lower my premium??? Prog rep then told me to just pay the triple premium and that they would consider maybe lowering it?? To Hell with that insult 😠! So, I dumped Prog Comm Insurance and went back to SF where, atleast they are more honest with customers and are not trying to rip them off! I WILL NEVER USE PROGRESSIVVE INSURANCE AGAIN! EVER!!

I got insurance for my commercial van with a fee of $236.33 plus an initial down-payment of 448.76 and I left the automatic payment. After two months my payment was exaggerated, like $780. I called to cancel it and was forced to pay 982.91. I felt ripped off. The worst insurance. I would never go back and I would never recommend it to any contractor who is in need of insurance for their van. These are the worst.

Don't walk, run. If you need commercial auto insurance this should be your last resort. Terrible customer service, if you want to call it that. The only thing these scumbags are good at is taking your money!

Broke down could not get ahold of anyone. When we finally did they transfer us back to the automated messaging. Ridiculous first impression of them. Definitely going to be switching our commercial insurance
