Benzinga is a rip off. I took advantage of their $17/month introductory offer to get option trades. I never received one email with a trade. Then when I went to cancel within the cancellation window they asked if I would like more time to evaluate in the free cancellation window. I clicked "yes" and got a response that "someone would get back to me". They never did which of course put me outside of the free cancellation window. Don't waste your money with these guys. As an update, Benzinga through Trustpilot tried to reach out to me saying I must have reviewed the "wrong site". Well this was just Benzinga trying to clean up my bad review. I can tell you I did not review the wrong site and I have my login credentials for their website in hand. They wanted me to get back to them - why should I do that? They have my email from when I signed up and they could have got in touch with me. Did they send me an email saying they were sorry about my experience and they would refund my money because I was an unsatisfied customer? The answer, sadly, is no. BOTTOM LINE: Don't waste your time with these guys as they are a complete RIP-OFF. If there was such a thing as a "zero" star rating I would give them a ZERO.

You will read many good comments about this software. Don't let them trick you! Let me say I used Benzinga Pro many hours per day for 2 months now and I think I have a pretty good idea of what this stuff really is. ***It's just a beta and, if you subscribe, you will be a paying beta-tester*** Many basic functions are missing and if you ask the customer support when they will be implemented they will tell you "it/they'll be implemented in the future but unfortunately, I don't have a date for you." An example? Sure. The news filter is extremely limited. You CAN'T exclude the news based on keywords. It will be implemented in the future. You CAN'T filter the incoming news by filtering only the news titles. Again, in the future. You CAN'T filter by using more keywords with an "OR" condition. It's not possible. The list continues but I think you got the idea. The news filter should be the most important and powerful part of a supposed complete real-time news feeder but here it is the worst. There is also an "Advanced Newsfeed" that gives a bit more choice than the "simple" one but not more than that and from time to time it gets frozen for some reason. Let's talk about the customer support. They state they are totally dedicated to the customer. Lol. The first time I contacted them, the support guy told me he couldn't provide me any support as I wasn't a paying customer (Wrong. I have always paid for their service, unfortunately). The second and last time, I asked if the access to the Benzinga pro API was included in my subscription (I would like to code a decent news filter myself) and the helpdesk told me he was going to forward my (difficult?) question to the API team that "would have contacted me shortly". That was 2 days ago. Never heard anybody. I also sent an email to this API team asking the same question. Again, no answer until now. Not impressive... So, if you are serious about trading, make yourself a favor and save your money (unless you want to spend many frustrating hours trying to understand something about hundreds and hundreds of incoming news that you CAN'T filter properly since, no matter what you need, it's not been implemented yet). You will thank me ;)

Pointless, slow to update and frequently wrong, software lags. Just use fidelity

If you are any type of active trader or trade on news you simply cannot use this service. The amount of old and inaccurate information that they give is astonishing. You will hear something on the squawk and then a few minutes later hear how it’s from last week. It’s stunningly poor and will cost you money.

These guys read two old news today SPCE and BA old news as new news, completely a joke, you can lose 10 years subscription $ with their mistakes, you would think that for a paid service they would at least not make those mistakes
