We booked this tour with Xin Chao because of exceptional guide services in the past as well as felt a new sight of the MeKong Delta/ Cai Be Island was called for. I and also a fellow Vietnam Vet started a motorbike scenic tour of the Ho Chi Minh Path Highway from Da Lat to Hoi An/Da Nang utilizing Bao Loc as an overview a couple of years ago - we were still in our 60s - and also had a good time. Loc picked us up at the agreed upon time at our hotel in District 1, (Pham Ngu Lao). The trip to our initial stop took about 90 minutes. Having been to the Me Kong several times in the past, this verified to be a new experience. We visited the "plantation" as well as tasted a few of his crops - local bananas, jack fruit and also sugar cane juice - not recommended for diabetics, yet my blood sugar was nearly regular by dinner time. The team then boarded river tour boat, about 15 meters long and 3 meters wide for a journey down one of the Me Kong tributaries. We went across the main MeKong River to Cai Be Island and also had a traditional lunch of yummy roast chicken and also rice with veggies. There were still some standard wood framework homes with dust floors, over 50 years old, still inhabited by families. If you don't desire to take a stroll, the restaurant does have WiFi. We departed the island to head to the dock where the van was waiting for us - about a 15 min cruise. Run into a significant riverboat from Cambodia that had actually begun upstream at Phnom Penh as well as was on a 3 day cruise ship bound for Ben Tre in Vietnam. We left Cai Be and quit for a roast pig treat along the way. The overviews presented us with a wonderful team picture as a memento of our journey. The remainder of the trip back to the hotel was a quiet, however beautiful trip. Even if you have been to the "Delta" prior to, this trip supplies sufficient variety to make it well worth your time. I would extremely recommend this scenic tour firm when planning your trip to Vietnam!!! This is among our highlights for our journey in 2019.

Amazing Service Our family of five (2 adults, 3 teenagers) did three tours with Xin Chao Private Vietnam Tours during our stay in Ho Chi Minh City. On our first night we did the Scooter Foodie Tour with Huyen and her team which we absolutely loved! They were all so friendly and enthusiastic and we felt very safe on the scooters. As well as the great food we really enjoyed being taken through all the narrow alleyways and the flower market. An amazing way to spend our first night in the city. The next three days we spent with our guide Phuong and her driver Mr Hung. We visited Cuchi Tunnels in the morning with Phuong getting us there early to avoid the crowds. She showed us around personally and was very knowledgeable, answering all our questions. In the afternoon she took us on a city highlights tour including a visit to the building where the last people were evacuated by helicopter before the fall of Saigon. The next day we left with Phuong for a two-day tour of the Mekong Delta. We visited many amazing places and people on our private boat trip through the canals and then by motorised cart through fruit orchards. We overnighted in Can Tho before visiting the Cai Rang floating market by boat as well as the rice noodles mills and a local fresh food and fish market before returning to Ho Chi Minh. Phuong had everything extremely well organised for us but was also quick to suggest changes along the way to accommodate our family's interests. We felt very grateful to have Phuong as our guide. We were very impressed with the service provided by Xin Chao Tours and their guides. Review By - Mackenzie888
