I have used this app for about 90 days. I am receiving the same amount of spam calls after signing up for privacy hawk. I have utilized every function on the app but no results.

Hi William,
Thanks for sharing this. Using the app for 90 days, enabling every feature, and still seeing no change in spam calls would frustrate anyone — it makes sense that you expected results by now.
PrivacyHawk reduces exposure by removing your data from brokers and marketing sources. That helps with legitimate outreach over time. The calls you’re still getting are almost certainly from scam operations using rotating numbers, which aren’t affected by removals — which is why blocking one just leads to another.
That said, after three months with no improvement, we’d really like to take a closer look at your account to make sure everything is running as it should. Keep in mind that the time it takes to see results also depends on the size of your publicly available digital footprint — the larger it is, the longer removals can take to have a visible impact. That’s completely normal, and you’ve already taken the most important step by starting to reduce your footprint.
Please email us at [email protected] and mention that you’re writing in from your Trustpilot review so we can check everything directly and see if any extra steps can be taken.

Customer service is nonexistent.
I sent a few messages through the app months ago, and no one hashet to even respond. Do better!

Hi Tiffany, we’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration and that you felt unsupported — that’s never the experience we want for our users.
After reviewing your account, we see that the ticket you submitted on July 23rd was addressed by our Support team. In our reply, we provided troubleshooting steps to help ensure you receive Dark Web alerts from PrivacyHawk and also shared guidance on where to navigate within the app to take a thorough look at your Identity Protection tool. We didn’t hear back from you after that message, so it’s possible our reply was missed or filtered into another folder.
We’d really like the chance to reconnect and make sure your questions are fully answered. Please reach out to us again at [email protected] and mention this is from your Trustpilot review so we can pick up right where we left off and assist you directly.

Rip-Off Report
One really has to watch this company. should you chose automatic payment options. They have a bad habit with sneaking in charges regardless of having cancelled one’s policy. This has happened to myself now twice and am having to contact the bank in stopping payments.

Thank you for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to review your account and communications. After checking our records, we can confirm that your message about canceling was received for the first time 17 hours ago. We want to reassure you that there are no hidden fees—our pricing is always transparent for all membership options. In your case, you originally subscribed to a monthly Premium plan on May 30th. We also noticed that you deleted your account and then rejoined on June 20th.
No worries—we’ve already canceled your subscription, responded to your support ticket with confirmation, and as a gesture of good faith, have refunded your most recent charge. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We wish you all the best!

Don't waste your money
Has not decreased spam, nor has it increased security of my information. All the work is still done by you as the individual... was not easy, was not valuable - wasted money.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t find value in PrivacyHawk. We do want to clarify that most of the data removal work is actually handled automatically by our system—we continuously scan for your personal information on data broker sites and submit removal requests on your behalf.
We want to clarify that the only part of our removal process that requires manual action from users is in the Advanced Broker Removal area. This section is completely optional and only applies if we find records flagged with BeenVerified and PeopleConnect brokers. The reason we can’t automate removals for these two brokers is simply because they haven’t been very cooperative and make it difficult for services like ours to participate in automated removals. If you choose to, you can submit an opt-out form directly, or reach out to them by phone or email—nothing more is required on your end. For the rest of the brokers, our data removal system is fully automated.
You can always view what’s currently being removed in your Processing tab, and see all successfully removed items (organized by broker) in the Protected tab, making the process simple and transparent for you.
While PrivacyHawk can help reduce your online footprint and decrease unwanted solicitations over time, we know it may not lead to immediate reductions in spam, as some information may have already been shared or sold before removal requests are processed.
We appreciate your input and are always working to improve the experience for our users. If you’d like to discuss your experience further or need support, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Thank you for giving us a try.

This website and app are a scam
This website and app are a scam. They will scan your data but want you to pay a $100 or more subscription fee to remove your data from the data centers. they don't mention that part before you sign up and now your data is out there again.
Response from PrivacyHawkFeb 12, 2025
Hello Scott,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. There’s no simple way to remove personal data from exposed databases—each data broker has its own process, and removals require continuous effort to keep your information private. That’s why we built PrivacyHawk—to automate and simplify this process for users.
Our app scans to show you where your data is exposed and provides tools to help manage it easily within the app. The automation behind this requires significant time and effort from our team, which is why we offer a paid subscription for ongoing removals.
We aim to be fully transparent about our pricing and the value of our service. If you have any questions or would like help navigating the app, feel free to reach out to our support team—we’d be happy to assist!
Best,
The PrivacyHawk Team

Outright Scam
App was broken when I subscribed. Their own servers couldn't communicate with their app. 400 Bad Request Error. Didn't offer ANYTHING to make up for it.
App is advertised as "Automatically Removing" you from these public records database, then it asks you fill out a bunch of forms and click on email links to actually get removed.
Nothing worked as advertised. This is outright consumer fraud.
It's also pretty obvious they paid for reviews on the app store. Every time they get a few bad ones all the sudden floods of good reviews come in saying almost the exact same thing.
App also asks for permission to download ALL of your emails. The permissions this app asks for are out of line. As poorly as this app is coded, I'm just left wondering how long it'll be before they're hacked and all my emails are leaked.

Hello Clayton,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with our app and the frustration this has caused.
We appreciate you bringing the server communication issue to our attention. As mentioned in the last communication sent to you by the customer support representative assigned, our team acted swiftly to resolve the error within minutes of your report and notified you just as quickly. We regret that this resolution did not align with your expectations for compensation, and we are open to discussing this further to find a more satisfying resolution.
In terms of the process for removing personal information, I want to clarify the use of the opt-out verification forms related to BeenVerified and PeopleConnect – these forms are intended to speed up the removal process due to procedural changes made by these companies. While filling out these forms is just a recommendation for quicker results and is not mandatory, we recognize that it may have been inconvenient. We want to assure you that the removal of your information will still be processed even without these forms, although it might take a bit longer. Additionally, we’re actively working on an update that will remove the need for these forms altogether, aiming for a more streamlined experience.
Concerning the email permissions required by our app, please know that these are solely for identifying potential vulnerabilities and managing opt-out requests efficiently. We never download or store your emails. Your privacy is our top priority, and our permissions are designed with the utmost respect for your data security.
We’re here to help and want to ensure that all your concerns are thoroughly addressed. Could you please reach out to us directly at [email protected]? We would love to discuss this further and find a satisfactory solution for you.
Thank you once again for your feedback. We are committed to restoring your trust and hope to resolve these concerns to your satisfaction.
Best,
The PrivacyHawk Team

Sends me spam emails 'on behalf' of…
Sends me spam emails 'on behalf' of people I've never heard of asking me to'Delete' or 'Not sell' their data. I never had any data on any of these random people until PrivacyHawk sends it to me! It's happened before and they promised it wouldn't happen anymore but it does. It makes me wonder what exactly they are charging people for!
