So I bought 2 of these straws from Primitive Labs. Watched all the videos I could to prepare the device for use. What I found is, no matter what I tried, the hard plastic (not rubber) bottom cap would not budge in any direction. Decided to attach a bottle of clean water to clear the tube until it ran clear. Then I added another bottle with cranberry juice to see if it made it clear. It did not! Don’t waste your money. Absolutely no confidence in this product.

Unknown number of Filters were plugged. Blindly picking a filter to take on a survival trip with no water in area for days would be stupid if you have a filter that is plugged in manufacture process. Still haven't received my full refund or address to return the filters to.

Two months waiting! Don’t trust shipping info. Supposedly came to west coast then back to New York Keep bugging them. Finally got something supposedly from Fed Ex. No shipping info but I could buy stuff from them. Snowballs chance. Read the reviews!!!!!! They don’t even reply to emails anymore. Seems I saw once they were in Canada. Veteran owners. Veterans from where? DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Delivery took 3+ weeks and do not like the charger. It is a cheaply made product from China with an expensive price. Solar screen has mark on it. Going to try charging it today. Fingers crossed it works. Not sure I'll trust the straws but have them now.

Yes we need to be prepared, BUT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, NEVER PROVIDE THE MERCHANDISE, AND WON’T GIVE A REFUND!!!

It has been over 7 weeks now. I cancelled order which was ignored Then it’s shipped. Now I have been trying for weeks to get refund It never arrived I’m contacting better business bureau.

I waited over a month for my product. The tracking link did not show any movement. After disputing my charge with my credit card, it suddenly appeared from some unknown person in Pennsylvania with a USPS tracking number that was invalid and the postal service couldn’t even track it or identify it! I didn’t know what was in the package, and I thought about returning to sender, so I didn’t open it for days! Once I opened it, a piece of the product broke off (a whistle) and I couldn’t put it back on, so I don’t feel as though the product was well made. I will not ever order from them again.

Order accepted June 3, shipped June 4. This company advertises Veteran owned and operated. Today is June 24 and the package is still in "transit" mode. 06/24/2026 tracking status still shows "in transit", but package was delivered today. 3 weeks from California indicates their Pony Express ponies need better nutrition.
