Brent Kromer will bait & switch
Brent Kromer sent us a letter with an offer on a piece of property. The first words he speaks during the phone call is to say that the real offer is roughly 50% of value stated on the letter. Terrible business with immediate bait and switch tactics.

We take our business and reputation seriously, so I want to clarify what actually occurred. We send over 100,000 pieces of marketing each month. At that volume, occasional errors are inevitable. The initial letter contained a pricing error, which I acknowledged and explained during our conversation. When mistakes occur, we believe in addressing them transparently rather than pretending they didn't happen. There is simply no market data or comparable land sales in the area that substantiate the original figure. An initial offer letter does not mean we are required to proceed at that price when errors are identified or additional information comes to light. We have a responsibility to evaluate each property based on actual market conditions. Unfortunately, my attempts to explain this were repeatedly met with interruptions, raised voices, and an unwillingness to allow me to finish speaking. I was more than willing to have a respectful conversation, but that requires professionalism on both sides. Correcting an obvious pricing error is not a bait-and-switch tactic. We were upfront about the mistake and communicated the revised number immediately rather than making promises we could not responsibly fulfill. We respect your right to decline our offer, just as we reserve the right to decline a transaction that is not supported by the market. We have no interest in misleading anyone, and we certainly won't agree to an unjustifiable price simply because an error appeared in a marketing letter. We wish you the best with your property.
