Sorry for the bent certificates you received. We ship in the USPS Priority shipping envelope intentionally to allow for us to ship non-folded certificates out, but it sounds like that did not make a difference on yours. If you are wanting a new certificate for display purposes we would be happy to get you a replacement certificate shipped out via a different channel or to a better address to prevent damage. Rest assured that the original raised sealed certificates we shipped are what should be mailed to the IRS for your CAA renewal or application. Maroof, I apologize that your certificate is taking so long to arrive. You are correct, your certificate mailing has taken longer than intended. Please check your email, for international tracking information. With our staff working from home on rotation since Covid, getting the international certificates out quickly has suffered. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will fix it!

Klaus, I am sorry that the exam seemed fast. The IRS requires that the AFTR exam be administered in a timed environment limited to 3 hours. It is an open book exam so I certainly do see how it can be frustrating working while on the clock! As a consolation, you are able to take the exam multiple times, so if you do run into a snag, rest easy knowing that you can always try it again and for no additional fee.
