When I founded Sporty’s over 60 years ago, I made a "commitment to the customer," a commitment to sell only high quality products and back it up with unbeatable service. Today, we still believe in the old fashioned values of helpful, personal customer service. We know you have high standards for buying by catalog – we plan on exceeding them every time you order from us. Here are just a few of the ways we do it.

I called to order 2 chairs, a sturday, light weight camping chair & a picnic sturdy light weight rocker. I asked my rep. for free delivery and he replied,"You can get free delivery on the web-site." and I did to order a 3rd chair and was charged a delivery fee.

I purchased a teak shower organizer. The product was of questionable quality, beams crooked, etc. My biggest gripe was I had to pay over $40 for shipping to get it delivered to me and then returned to them, and they wouldn't reimburse me for either, or both. So, $40 down the drain, literally, and I got nothing! Don't worry, I won't be "bothering" you again! So much for "making it right" with the customer spiel.

The company was fine in getting us the product. The product was just so inferior, it wouldn't go together correctly...wanted to return it but I had to pay the shipping which was not worth the expense. Cut it up and put in the recycle bin.

Two good things. One, customer service reached out to clarify the shipping set up. Two, the shipment arrived very fast. However, the entire fire pit was covered in rusty. Even after using some steel wool and black spray paint designed for high heat surfaces (grills, fire pits, etc) still has a lot of rust and flaking metal. Really disappointing as it was meant as a gift for spouse, and for this much money, should have required no clean up, scrubbing, repainting etc.

Thank you for your order. The item you ordered has an 8 week lead time, however we have been informed by the manufacturer that it is scheduled to ship early this week. Thank you,

I finally tried some thing you offered, four LED star lights for $39.95. But then there was a 25% penalty added on in the form of shipping for $9.95. OK, $40 just became $50, but wait for the surprise when these four little dinky star lights showed up at my door. I’m waiting for them to be shown again in one of your emails to see how it is you photographically conned Me into thinking they were about it 8 inches per side instead of maybe 3 inches per side. I feel ripped off, but it’s not worth the hassle of sending them back (at my expense). I’ll find a place for them, so they will be of some utility. Your process of the order was not bad so and overall 2 score.
