The DevSecOps Professional (CDP) course was a valuable and enriching experience with many key takeaways that will definitely benefit any individual who might be interested in the DevOps sector. The course covered useful theories and concepts such as the DevSecOps Maturity Model (DSOMM), practical exercises via "state of the art" virtual labs. It is through those labs that you can learn more about embedding SCA, SAST, DAST tools into your CI/CD pipelines. Not just that, learn more about IaC (using Ansible to perform hardening), Compliance-as-Code (using Chef Inspec) and Vulnerability Management as well. Overall, the CDP course is very well conducted and i will definitely look forward to the CDE course in the future.

Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) course is probably the most comprehensive and practical course that I have taken in recent times. I learned a ton from the hands-on labs and will highly recommend this course to anyone who want to enhance their skills in the areas of DevSecOps. Your knowledge is tested with the lab exercises and a challenging 12 hours long exam which makes this course and the certificate title even more worthy. Not to forget, the staff is super friendly and they will support you and answer any doubt/questions you may have during the course. I wish you best of luck if you choose to take this course.

The CDP Course was excellent and really hands on. The modules were thoughtfully crafted and well paced. Each module consists of a lecture and several labs. I really liked that we could share our lab answers with the instructors over Slack. It was a great form of validation, great way to seek guidance and advice and they were always prompt in their replies.

Learning how to embed a OpenSource tool into your CI/CD pipeline was fun and challenging. I can sense that the instructors took every possible steps to make the course, labs interesting and covered the most important parts of a the OpenSource tooling and explained the rational behind the selection in a very clear and concise manner. In the lab, they explained everything step-by-step which made me comfortable with the tools as most of the tools are security related and new (at least for me). Finally the exam, Its really a memorable experience as I never took a 12hr exam prior to this. I prepared for 2 weeks post the course completion and appeared for the exam. The tips and additional information that instructors provided during the labs are the game changers. The exam was fun and challenging. I would like practical devsecops team to consider the below - To see a recorded demonstration of the tools by the instructor before we take up the labs. - A optional purchase option during the initial course purchase of 45 days labs instead of the 30 days labs. - Mock exam with different set of exercises. - Option to schedule exam on Friday night.

First of all, I think this course was very interesting and meaningful. The support and guidance of the staff during the learning time is very unique and definitely sets the course apart from others. The reason that I selected 4 stars out of 5 is because I think there is always room for improvement. In the bottom line, if someone will ask me, I will definitely recommend this course.

The lab is worth spending time on..there are so much content including GitLab, Jenkins, CICD and different popular security tools. The staff is very kind to help at anytime also..it’s a worthy certification to earn and very good starting point of your journey in DevSecOps :)
