The lab environment, lab exercises & the challenges have been designed to deliver a very immersive experience. The CDE exam is amazing!! It consists of 5-7 challenges that must be completed within 24 hours. Every challenge tests your hands-on ability from the trenches to enable and troubleshoot security using Everything-as-code. It tests your ability not just to configure security tasks/jobs in the CI/CD pipeline but, more importantly, can you fix application, IaC, container, and pipeline vulnerabilities; In my personal opinion CDE might be equivalent or close to CCIE for DevSecOps.

Course content, videos and labs were very good and well made. However the exam portion was vague in areas and expectations were unclear. Signing up for the exam also became an issue because I either did not see or did not notice any differentiation between AM and PM and accidentally scheduled my exam for midnight instead of noon.

I completed the Container Security Expert Course and what sets this apart from other courses is you will gain some practical skills to secure all elements of a docker ecosystem i.e from building secure images, securing docker registries, applying runtime docker security, docker recon to identify weaknesses in deployment and attacking docker infrastructures. The labs and challenges are realistic types of issues you would face on-the-job. The course content does bring a lot of excellent content together in one place from a comprehensive list of references. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and has really help hone my skills and provide immediate benefit in consulting DevOps teams to secure their deployments and incorporating best practices learnt, amending policy & standards and work instructions accordingly. I have gained the skills to create my own docker images to encapsulate security tooling to assist in auditing vulnerabilities in images and libraries. I thoroughly recommend this course if you want to learn Docker from scratch and learn to secure the entire Docker ecosystem. It truly will accelerate your knowledge and provide domain expertise in this topic.

Excellent introduction to various DevSecOps tooling and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Browser-based labs were quite buggy and Staff were quite unresponsive on Slack to some of my concerns on exam day, so I've dropped a star, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend the course & I'm sure they'll eventually iron out these little things.

Regarding to the course material, it is super clear and the videos are so helpful, but for me the practical labs were the key of making the learning process so smooth yet effective! Moreover, the Practical DevSecOps team are so supportive and kind, the slack channel made the communication so easy and effective, and they are always ready to answer my questions and provide help whenever I need. I'm very satisfied about the whole experience and would definitely recommend it to whomever looking forward improvement in DevSecOps field!

The CDP is useful course for whom wants to take needed skills in devsecops. Their supporters are nice and enthusiastic

I did the Certified DevSecOps Professional, and I have to admit that the lab setup is amazing, since you have several boxes at your disposal that have connectivity to each other so that you can go straight to the point without dealing with the underlying stuff. While solving the labs many of them offer tips that you can see if you feel stuck. The challenges can be performed in various CI/CD systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc, which is great if you want to get exposed to how other systems work.

My learning experience with the CDP course is great. The lab environment is smooth and the lab guides are very detail and clear. The exam is quite challenging and I have to use entire 12 hours to complete it.
