After sales spares parts shocking
I have owned powertec equipment for many years and still up until a few years ago buying accessories, but this will be my last. Powertec after sales are a disgrace. I have a full power rack with lat pulldown tower attached. The cable that joins the weight stack/weight horns that then leads to the top of the unit which you attach your pulldown bar to or another attachment to, the cable is frayed. I have contacted powertec USA no help at all won't ship to UK. IV tried powertec Europe a few times just get fobbed off, or don't reply, I have contacted fitness superstore where I purchased my weight stack from who are according to powertec USA the supplier for the UK, no help don't have the part in stock so can help me. Disgrace. Won't be buying anymore powertec equipment and it's ashame because it's good kit but now have a lat pulldown machine I can't use. I tried an aftermarket cable but the bolt end which screws into the weight horn is a different thread. Absolute disgrace and wouldn't recommend purely down to after sales/spares they don't want to know.
