I received the wrong adapter for $20 for my compostable toilet. As soon as customer service was notified, they contacted me, apologized for the inconvenience, and immediately sent the proper pieces. Even though the confusion was on my end, they made it right.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. After reviewing the products, we confirmed that the CompoCloset 1A 12V Power Adapter is designed specifically for the CompoCloset Cuddy and is not the correct adapter for a Nature’s Head composting toilet. Although both systems use 12V power for their ventilation fans, they use different-sized connectors. This is why the CompoCloset adapter could not be used properly with your Nature’s Head toilet. Nature’s Head offers its own 110V AC Adapter, which plugs into a standard household outlet and supplies the correct 12V connection to the toilet’s ventilation fan. If your toilet is installed in an RV, boat, or other location with a 12V electrical system, it can instead be connected using the included 12V cable. Nature’s Head also offers a cigarette-lighter power kit and a wall-mounted 12V port kit. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion. Since the CompoCloset adapter was not compatible with the Nature’s Head toilet, we would be happy to help arrange the appropriate resolution. We will recommend a Return and Replacement
