PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

I love love love LOVE my powerblock dumbells. Switching it on the go is proving to be a little tricky, but I guess that I will become more proficient as I use them more. Use them almost everyday and am working muscles I never knew I had! Fantastic product.

Powerblock Travel Bench Review
Excellent light-weight bench that can be used for incline and decline exercises as well as typical straight-bench workouts. Very stable when used with a yoga mat underneath it.

Pleasure
It was a pleasure dealing with this company. I ordered a product and somehow was shipped one item that was wrong. I contacted the company was was dealt with very quickly. The associate was very accommodating and we were able to fix the wrong shipment without any problem at all.

Power Block Stand
I don't mind paying the pricey shipping, but when Power Block sits on the order for over a week before shipping out is ridiculous. If you are going to charge for shipping, then ship order within 1-3 days.
Other than that, product is quality and I am very happy with it.

Great product but description on website could be better
I like my power block set, but I thought it would be easier to change amongst the various small weight differences for U33. For example, to go between say 11lb and 13b you'd have to add/remove the adder weights vs just selecting the weight with the clip. I would update the description to be more clear so that people know what they're really getting.

Great space-saver, not an ideal shape.
I really love how much space is saved by these, and the grips are very comfortable and quite durable foe being foam. However, there's really no way to do some of the other well-known dumbbell exercises--specifically goblet squats. I wish they had a more accommodating shape for that purpose, and perhaps that there were some way to make them a little less wide for when held length-wise next to you. But I don't regret buying them for a second!

The U90 Set, 5-90 lbs (Includes U90 Stage 3 Kit 70-90 lbs), KettleBlock 40, Rack Stand, KettleBlock Stand, Sports Bench with Chin & Dip attachments, and the KettleBlock Handle. Are what I have invested in at this time. In my professional opinion, the equipment is excellent and meets the requirements for producing results at home, and in training clients away from the gym. For this, we give PowerBlock equipment five stars. However, the response to two outstanding questions we have presented have not been addressed, and it seems PowerBlock does not plan on responding. For this lack of attention to new customer needs for answers, especially after making such a significant investment in PowerBlock equipment, we give three stars. Lowering the overall subjective scoring to four stars.

Great Dumbell Alternative; Stand not so Much.
Very happy w/Powerblocks themselves. Assembling the stand was more difficult/annoying than it needed to be. Essential but not worth the money.
