This place is a scam
This place is a scam. They don’t work for the customers, they are in the pockets of the event organizers. They line their pockets with fees and gratuity, and when the event is a scam or doesn’t happen, or has an issue and the customer deserves a refund, then their staff all of a sudden disappears. That’s usually a sign of financial insolvency. Meaning they don’t have enough money to issue the refunds. Which means they probably won’t be around much longer after they have scammed everyone out of their hard earned money. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY TICKETS THROUGH POSH. It’s a scam.

A SCAM
A SCAM. POSH fked us. Completely.
I’m writing this because people need to know what actually happened, not the sugarcoated bullshit these platforms hide behind.
We were running an event in Austin, Texas.
We’re supposed to activate QR scanners for 200+ people coming in. We’re supposed to run the door. We’re supposed to make sure the event doesn’t turn into a disaster.
Instead? NOTHING works.
The scanners don’t activate. Everything is locked behind their stupid “organizer account” bullshit that THEY couldn’t even figure out.
So we start contacting support.
And this is where the real comedy begins.
We send our phone number six fu ck i n g times.
We tell them we’re on the wrong account.
We tell them we’re minutes from opening doors.
We tell them we need a HUMAN.
Their replies?
• “We don’t offer phone support.”
• “Are you an organizer or attendee?” (after we already told them)
• “What email is on your account?” (after we already told them)
• AI‑generated garbage about a “black screen with the Posh logo” :something we NEVER said.
Meanwhile, people are lining up outside.
And because Posh was absolutely useless, we had to let everyone in without scanning tickets.
Read that again: WITHOUT SCANNING TICKETS.
We lost thousands of $$$ dollars because their system collapsed and their “support” is scam.
And don’t come at me with “user error.”
We had the delegation, instructions, responsibility.
This wasn’t our failure.
This was POSH failing at the exact moment they were supposed to do the ONE thing they exist for:
Scan tickets at the door.
If you’re an organizer, promoter, venue, whatever ; don’t rely on Posh for anything that matters.
When shit hits the fan, you’re alone.
No phone.
No chat.
No escalation.
No human.
Just slow emails, wrong accounts, and AI hallucinating problems you never had.
Posh cost us money, time, reputation, and sanity.
People need to know.
Stay away

This app is a joke
This app is a joke. I bought tickets to what looked like a legit event — clean listing, QR code, everything — and when we showed up, the door staff scanned it and instantly said “this ticket doesn’t exist.” We were completely denied entry. Embarrassing and infuriating.
And here’s the crazy part: after this happened, I checked the reviews and realized I’m not the only one. Apparently anyone can throw an event up on this app and make it look real enough to fool people. No verification, no warning, no support — nothing. It’s basically a playground for people who want to sell fake tickets.
The app looks polished, but behind the scenes it’s a free-for-all with zero protection for buyers. We lost our money, wasted our time, and had to pay again at the door. Support? Nonexistent.
Use this app if you want to gamble your night and your money. Otherwise, avoid it. I wish someone had warned me.
