I went and ordered a barebones pc for Portatech and the experience was pretty good. If I could i would give them a 3 and a half start rating though., Ill list some reasons why. First the good. It was easy to shop on the site and decide on the parts I wanted for my comp. They left explanations on the site to help you decide and choose what was good for you. The pricing I believe was very fair and I believe i got a fair price. I have my comp and it works great and I just had to plug it in to work. Heres some of the bad. It was had for me to contact customer service Via email. There contact us page on their site was not working. Emails I sent to them wouldnt go thru. I just wanted an update on my order. I had some difficulty with customer service aspect I called and it sounded like they had my computer ready for a day or two but help onto it cause i choose the regular shipping method. Shipping took longer then i would have hoped. I decided on standard build so i expected about a week to be finished. After ordering i got my order in bout two weeks. Conclusion. Great barebones pc. It works great, was reasonably priced, not good customer service. 3.5 stars

I found your website set up really well. The way you have the optional items shown is really clear and concise. Very good ordering experience. The only thing I would change is to default the rather strange option (something like " Platinum Deliv. Plan") off. Don't try to guess what your customers want. Rick

Had some problems with the memory. Bought new memory and this fixed the problem. Building my 2nd computer right now.

They let you pick all of the components included in the offer and there were many options for extra components that could make it easier for someone attempting to build a custom rig. The extra component options are not recommended for more experienced buyers, as their options and prices were not the best.

I often purchase combo units since you get a better bargain and the vendor gives you more options. With Portatech, this is just amazing! Not only the offer the best prices in the market, but also offer additional services that are top notch. Of course, one can go crazy ordering lots of things, but that is the beauty - let the customer choose! Is great how you can play around adding and subtracting things to know your final price. After researching other places, the prices are still very compatible. BOTTOM LINE If looking to purchase a big combo, then portatech is a solution. Thanks. -Rigo
