Poloniex is a scam and possibly a fraudulent company. Ever since it has been sold to Justin Sun (a known fraudster and cryptocurrency celebrity marketeer). Also its been partly owned and bought by Circle, a large Wallstreet backed firm who are notorious for giving their customers a run-around forever. You will never be able to withdraw your funds. Poloniex will find endless reasons and excuses as to which terms and conditions (small print) you happen to fall into and therefore cannot comply with their never-ending security procedures. It is in their best interests to withhold user funds and never return them. Good luck!

Terrible exchange with embarrassing customer support. Can't withdraw and wallets can stay in maintenace for over a year. They do everything to get new customers, like saying they support a hard fork, just so they will get mentioned in the press but then never perform the migration process. PLEASE DO NOT USE POLONIEX because the best moments to trade their website is offline for maintenance.

a scam they stole me 6 BTC in 2016 and they have asxcuse every time to avoid refund. The first time they ask me to make police complaint, translate it.. and after i did all this they ask me to tell police of my country to contact them again and i also thit but they respond me that police never contact them. Poloniex is a huge scam, stay away. They will come up with numerous reasons why you cannot withdraw your crypto. After running a scan on my wallet address, I discovered that they took my funds about 6 weeks after I deposited them. If they stole your funds or crypto you need to file a police report.

Do not TRUST! There are many decent exchanges out there, never EVER touch Poloniex with a 10ft pole. They STOLE customers assets openly during the CLAM lending incident and refuse to give anybody their money back. They're hiding behind Circle now to give people even more the runaround. Still nothing after years. Stay away from these thiefs.
