This updated star rating for Poliglu Customer Care. They have reached out several times to ensure that they have resolved my issue. They have and again I appreciate their efforts. After providing the necessary requested information, Poliglu reached out to me via phone call. I spoke with a very professional Customer Care Representative. They were very understanding of the situation, and provided a satisfying resolve. I certainly appreciated their effort. Initial communication and resolution may have to be communicated again with tactfulness and patience. Once the situation is fixed, Customers should edit, update, when there is a positive outcome to the situation. I am editing my review as Poliglu sent a reply to my original review requesting more information. This was sent to poliglu support / contact Request: email address, order number, and full name. Note: The communication between myself and Poliglu Support was within a 15 minute window. I received an email just after in a confirmation order email. This statement is stated in the confirmation. Thank you for your recent purchase. Your order has already been processed in our state-of-the-art, automated warehouse, and we regret to inform you that modifications to the order are no longer possible. We will ship it as soon as possible. Seems to be a recurring issue when ordering from Poliglu. I have found that others have had the same experience and that in itself does not generate a lot of trust! I am going to have this investigated further. This type of activity has to be stopped. Thanks goodness for my credit card alerts. On September 20th, I ordered one Poliglu translator and when I saw my text from my banking institute, it indicated two charges. One charge for a single unit, and another for three units. I immediately checked for my email confirmation, called their customer service. I even spoke to a support representative who indicated that the order would be intercepted and I should be receiving a follow up email indicating this would take place. Basically nothing. No surprise there. September 21st I received this email. "Your order is packed and soon will start its journey Exciting news! Your order with Poliglu Translator is carefully packed and ready for dispatch. Our courier will soon be picking up your package to begin its journey to you. Below are the details for your reference with order tracking number. You can start tracking your order within 24 hours." I can only assume the support representative did not pass the request to amend the order to ship one unit and credit the other 3 from the order. Judging by others experience, returning the three units is futile. What a pity and frustration for those people who previously placed orders and the future customers who are going to be caught in the web of deceit.
