The machine looks like a quality machine and it is easy to pare to your WiFi or phone on the app. this translator does not have a screen on it , you have to use it in conjunction with an app on your mobile phone. so if you need a screen like me consider another model

I recently wrote a scathing but honest and factual account of my first dealings with this company. In short, the website defaults to buy 3 get 2 more. So if you don’t see this and think you are only ordering 1 you get slammed for 5 (and who needs 5). Now that would have been easily fixed by modifying the order and I contacted customer support immediately but was given a terrible run around and a load of BS about not being able to modify or refund. I went on the attack, given my background in the justice system. I am pleased to report that I was finally contacted by a customer service manager Joan. She was genuine and apologetic. A very nice person. We chatted for sometime. I told her that the company needs to firstly do something about the buy 3 default already being selected and the less than helpful response from customer service after immediate contact following the overcharging. Joan assured me that I would receive a full refund. She told me that the order was on the way. I told her I would return them when they arrived as that was only fair but she indicated that she was advised to not seek the return of the items wrongly sent. On top of that she was authorized to send me a gift as well for my feedback (even as negative as it was), I note my account has be recredited today in the full amount. I can’t comment yet on the device because it has not arrived. But I now give 4 stars for Joan’s effort and kindness and for Poliglo for more than making up for the very rocky start. Thank you to all involved. Joan assured me that my feedback regarding the ordering on the site and customer service response will be taken seriously. Thank you Joan and Poliglo…I must confess I expected to be in battle with them for a long time and was very much convinced that I would end up at a loss. This fortunately turned out for the best and in fact I have benefitted from it as it appears for which, as a fair person, I feel a little bad about but Joan’s response to that reassured me that they are trying hard as a new company to get it right.

*UPDATED 14/3/23 by The Author: My initial review was about their sales process and how it "tricked" me into buying 5 units instead of 1. Since I posted this review, they have called me and refunded me. They said they would look at their process and improve. I hope so. Anyway - all is well that ends well. The translator is pretty cool, but you need to use WiFi or 5G from your phone for it to work. It's a level up on Google Translate I guess. Original Review: I tried to purchase a single Poliglu translator, but during the 10 step sales process they snuck in an extra 4 units? I contacted them immediately (within 60 seconds) and asked that they adjust my order to reflect that I only wanted one. They refused and said I will now have to return the units at my expense.
