I'm giving mixed results because I received a letter in the mail from point break financial stating I was pre approved for a 50.000 debt consolidation loan different from a debt relief/settlement option. My biggest problem with this is if you do basic research you will discover that this institution does not offer loans it's through a third party and this institution primary goal is to get you in a debt relief program but the letter doesn't mention it. Update : 4/13/26 point break financial responded to my review and that's great because most places won't but on trust pilot they do more often than not. I started with 3 now I'm giving 4 stars point break financial stated they will evaluate the way they do business.

Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We understand how receiving a pre-approval letter can feel confusing, especially when expectations around loan options and debt relief programs aren’t clearly differentiated upfront. Your concern is valid, and transparency is something we take very seriously. To clarify, Point Break Financial does not directly issue loans. In some cases, we work with a network of third-party lending partners to explore consolidation options when they may be a fit. However, our primary focus is helping clients evaluate all available paths to financial relief—including debt settlement programs—based on their individual situation. That said, your feedback about the messaging in our mailers is important, and we will be sharing this with our team to ensure we are communicating more clearly and setting the right expectations from the start. We’d welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, answer any questions, and make sure you have a full understanding of your options. Please feel free to reach out to us at your convenience. Thank you again for your honest input—it helps us improve. — Point Break Financial
