Glory to God, I passed my NCE 4 days ago and my CPCE as well 3 months ago, both on the first attempts. Pocket Prep was an exceptional resource in addition to the Encyclopedia of Counseling, (Purple Book, hard copy and audio), as well as an online Mometrix course that covered all of the domains, and included practice tests, flashcards, in addition to videos. Pocket Prep referenced many of its questions and answers to the Purple Book. It was extremely useful when one was on the go at appointments, or at lunch, and then again at night. The mock exams were outstanding. The "stats" it kept of one's progress was also significant. I found the section of "missed questions" very useful to go over any incorrect items. I am a former teacher/professor of over 12 years and am pretty demanding when it comes to my study material. I highly recommend Pocket Prep. It also helps in building one's confidence for the test. I was using Pocket Prep to study for the PHR. I had a 3-month subscription for Pocket Prep that apparently auto-renewed (I’m sure I agreed to that when I signed up). I ended up not taking the PHR due to a career change decision, and missed the next 3-month auto-renew by 4 days. I emailed Pocket Prep and they refunded me the money. I respect any company willing to give a refund after a mistaken auto-renew.

I am writing today to let all the students know that I passed my exam today! 01/16/2025 Thank God, this was my 5th time taking this exam, yes 5th time! If you are studying for the NCMHCE exam and you have failed on your first time or 5th time taking the exam, do not give up. I actually took this exam 4 times on my 5th attempt I passed today. My previous attempts were failures and I felt embarrassed, scared, hopeless and even doubted myself at one point in my preparation for this exam. I had heard from other people that this was an easy exam and it is not please believe me. I took this course the counselingexam.com course 3 times and I took the Mometrix online course twice a and finally I studied the Pocket prep online course for the NCMHCE exam. Pocket prep broke down each section of the NCMHCE exam and it has a mock exam. All Three of these online programs together helped me tremendously. I feel I learned something from all 3 of these online programs. Make sure however that you give yourself at least 2-3 weeks of uninterrupted study time to prepare for this exam. Please believe me, this exam is not easy and it will take your entire focus to pass this exam. But today I passed and now you know that if you fail on your first try you can still come back in 30 days with a good approach and PASS this exam. I believe in you and now you can believe in yourself too.

Pocket Prep exam prep is excellent. They offer solid test questions with detailed explanations. I used pocket prep to pass ccsp, cysa+, and security+ Would highly recommend pocket prep to anyone in IT.
