Happy I did it!
High recommended! When I first joined the STR program, I got the VA service free for the first month. After that first month, I decided to renew and continue paying for the service because I was happy with the progress and wanted to keep working with a VA. I’ll be honest — I was a little on the fence about joining after my first conversation with the sales rep. He was pretty pushy, and some of the questions he asked were unrelated and made me feel uncomfortable. However, I had already done extensive research on the topic, and the CEO also came across as very reliable, so I decided to give it a shot. That ended up being the right decision, and I'm glad I didn't let that initial conversation with the rep stop me! I started with one VA, and after about a month I asked to switch to a different VA because I wasn't sure we were the best fit and wanted to have a different experience. The transition was really smooth — no questions asked — and my new VA was there when I needed her. My VA has been doing property research and landlord outreach for me, and we've already gotten multiple positive responses from properties in the markets I'm targeting. That has made the process much more efficient and helped me identify real opportunities much faster. What I really like about my current VA is that she is very experienced. She already knows the whole process and how the conversations with landlords usually go. At this point, she does the initial outreach and gets me involved when the landlord is actually interested and ready to negotiate. That saves me a ton of time and lets me focus on the properties that are actually worth pursuing. One thing I'd appreciate is a little more of a heads-up when the VA membership renewal is approaching. I had intended to cancel my VA membership once but missed the deadline by about two days, so I ended up having to pay for the entire additional month. A reminder beforehand would have been helpful. I'm still in the process of evaluating the properties and haven't signed a lease yet, but I'm really happy with the progress so far. Overall, I'm very happy with the choice I made to join the program. Having an experienced VA actively doing the outreach has been a huge help, and getting actual "yes" responses has given me a lot more confidence in the strategy. One of the reasons I wanted to write this review is that when I was considering joining, there weren't very many reviews about the VA/Plug and Play experience. I remember wanting to hear from people who had actually gone through it, so I wanted to share my experience for anyone who is now in the same position I was. If you're serious about getting started with rental arbitrage and don't want to do all of the prospecting and outreach yourself, I'd definitely recommend giving the Plug and Play Program a try.
