Needs work but has potential

Used them for the first time last winter for clearing snow in the driveway. Was very impressed at how quickly they came out and cleared the area in no time. Because of that, we decided to use them for lawn care. Wow!!! The service was as different as day and night this time. Wanted grass cut and small bushes trimmed. Chose a date and no one came. Called a number to find out what happened and was told there was no record of the order. Promised to be out the next day. That didn't happen until a few more days went by. Had already put in a request to have bushes trimmed. That didn't happen either. They asked for pictures of the bushes. Sent them. Claimed they didn't get them. Gave me a number to text them to. Did that, but someone texted me back from the company and asked what the pictures were for. Lots of confusion, no one seemed to know who was doing what. Real messy. Will never use them again. Losing one client probably doesn't matter to them, but had they done what they said they could do, they would have had a permanent customer. We had signed up to have our lawn done every two weeks, but they didn't even follow up with that either and we were looking forward to using them for snow removal again. No longer recommend them to anyone like we did with the snow removal.

The customer service and responsiveness is good. I've had bad experiences with the vendors they outsource to. The last two experiences have led to calling the vendor back to finish the job and the last experience was mowing the wrong yard and then waiting 4 days for resolution and having to cancel and find another service myself when Plowz&Mowz couldn't complete it.

They hired a non-professional to aerate and overseed my yard. The non-professionals used a product that was intended for patch work, and at best used a 5 lbs bag for my entire half acre of yard.

too many excuses on why my the work I paid for could not be done as scheduled

Frequently late and inconsistent communication about delays and status. It's pretty much 50/50 whether I can expect service to happen on the scheduled date, and sometimes no warning on the delays.

App is decent, but the contractors are flaky and wayyyyy over-priced

I ordered services through Plowz and Mowz several times last year. Each time they were significantly delayed from their quoted time and one time they did not show up at all. The app is a great concept and would be very useful if properly executed.
