I have been doing all my planning and plot outlining on bits of paper, and then I lose the bits. I think that this is the biggest difference that Plottr has made for me. Everything is now in one place and can be found with a click. And everything is clearer. I can feel my brain changing as I use it. It feels like such a support and it will definitely speed my writing process up. I would really like to be able to print directly from Plottr. I think they are working on this. At the moment I can print by exporting to Word but I don't like the way it looks there.

This purpose-built software for authors has helped me put together my novel much. In the past I used bullet points in a document or morphed a spreadsheet to make the outline make sense. But this software runs on a great graphical interface and helps keeps things organized. I love the templates too!

A really great tool for plotting, saving ideas, checking the pacing of your story and so much more. I always have it open while I'm writing my stories!

Can I just say how much I love Plottr! I’m a pantser writer, and it’s always been a daunting task to piece everything together when the time comes. I discovered a course showing how useful Plottr is to assist putting all the pieces together. I now look forward to the task! I can’t recommend Plottr enough!

Well, Plottr is great. I had an earlier review that said they need to fix a problem with synching, and then I learned it was a problem with my two Macs using different API/File systems and having trouble synching MANY different apps. I rolled my new Mac back to an earlier DropBox setup. Now, I'm using my iCloud setup to good effect. But, anyway, I want to retract the earlier review (one star). I find the templates to be a huge help. I'm moving from short-form stuff to longer works, but it's hard. Finally, I had a tech glitch when re-installing Plottr, and I'm astounded at how FAST I got help ON A WEEKEND. Amazing. It was also dead-on to fix the problem and explained in very clear terms. I'm a dedicated fan now!

I am a book coach and an author. One of my first suggestions for clients is to invest in Plottr. Whether they are a plotter or a pantser, it gives them a sense of control, a path, and a visual scheme to manipulate without writing out 100s of words. As an historical fiction writer, I use Plottr to run a timeline for me, and use the notes---photos, background, character info--as a concise notebook and "reference book" I can access. That's just part of the benefits--then there's the tech support (like having a teenager on speed dial) and the community of writers who ask questions and get answers. Great product.

I wrote a novel, didn't like the process I'd used for plotting it, and purchased Plottr hoping to become more efficient. I'm a visual person and really like the Timeline feature. It's easy to use, very flexible. I've got 75 tiles representing the story and refining it will much easier than last time. I recommend Plottr to plotters who want to be able to see the entire story at a glance!
