Plant was much smaller than advertised and covered in bird poo! Paid extra for next day delivery but took 5 days to arrive

*THESE REVIEWS ARE FOR THE UK-based COMPANY.* This is a really bad company. Don't be fooled by their high-ish rating on google, they falsely report every negative review they get as "false engagement" until Google takes it down. I've noticed they've had 6 negative reviews in the past few months taken down, including mine. After appealing the removal of it with Google, I got my review reinstanted. The problem is when reviews get taken down, you don't get notified so everyone who left a negative review will need to manually check it's still there (and they probably won't). I placed an order and it didn't arrive. Weeks later it still hadn't arrived so I got my money back through chargeback. Plants Depot contacted me to tell me they were closed during the period I placed my order. This wouldn't be a problem if their site hadn't said they were open every day when they weren't and had the option of paying for guaranteed next day delivery. Clearly not guaranteed if they're closed. None of this would be a real issue though. They were closed and forgot to update their site. The problem is they were so so abusive in emails. Really horrible staff. They refused to take any accountability for false information on their site, even blamed me for paying for next day delivery - because it's my fault for thinking they were open when their site said they were open? Their original response to my review was also extremely nasty, I took screenshots of it before they deleted it and came up with a nicer response. Their staff are horrible, just avoid The company is telling everyone these reviews are for a company based in the US with the same name, this is a lie and they know it. Notice the website url, and the fact that all reviews mention £ not $. The location at the top is a trustpilot error. These reviews are for the UK company.

The plant I ordered arrived completely wonky and much smaller than advertised. I should have emailed straight away, but now the plant is dying and losing leaves. I paid almost £60 for this, and the quality is extremely disappointing. I would not recommend buying from here.

Do don't buy from this site, the size of the plant was 3/4 smaller than the plant advertised. The packaging of the plant was awful and every branch on the tree was broken. They kept changing the goal posts on a return/ refund and then I was made to return the product and still they wouldn't issue a refund until they received the plant back which took extra days.

I ordered a taller plant but received a smaller plant. £10 was the difference in price so I asked to keep the plant but have the £10 refunded. Customer Service accepted the plant was undersized but would only offer a 15% refund despite being 50% overpriced. Is it there trading strategy to deceive/short change buyers?? Beware!! NB The plant though undersized was in good condition.

Very disappointed with the birds of paradise plant I ordered. It was £54 and I feel cheated! It is not as tall as described and the leaves were damaged. I checked their returns policy, says we cannot return products bought on sale. Please do not buy from this company.
