I ordered 3 plants from The Plants Depot and was extremely disappointed with both the condition of the plants on arrival and the way my complaint was handled afterwards. The snake plant arrived completely uprooted from its pot, with soil scattered throughout the box. The pot itself was bent, and the plant was not secure during transit. One of the satin pothos plants arrived with yellowing leaves, dead foliage and visible mould. Overall, the plants were not in the healthy condition I would expect when purchasing from a professional online plant retailer. When I contacted customer service and provided photographs, I was essentially told that the issues were normal in transit and that I should replant the snake plant and remove the damaged leaves from the pothos myself. While I understand that plants can experience some stress during shipping, a completely uprooted plant and another arriving with mould and dead leaves is not what I would consider acceptable quality. The most frustrating part was the proposed resolution. Despite the plants arriving in poor condition, I was told that I would need to pay to return them and ensure they were carefully packaged, properly supported and all soil tightly secured, otherwise management could refuse the refund!!!! What?!! This struck me as incredibly ironic given that the same level of care had clearly not been taken when the plants were sent to me. Their website states that if you are not happy with your plants, they will replace or refund them. However, my experience has been far from straightforward. After being unable to reach a reasonable resolution directly, I ultimately had to raise a dispute through PayPal. I would advise potential customers to read recent reviews and purchase with caution. Based on my experience, I would not order from this company ever again. DO NOT USE Plants depot... poor quality and poorer customer service

We ordered RSPB bird seed from Plants Depot at a cost of almost £14 which included a fee for postage. The seed provided was not the make that we ordered but another make and much cheaper product which we can buy locally at a cost of £1.09. Secondly, the product they actually sent is not listed on their website. We have contacted Plants Depot requesting either the correct product or a refund but they have not provided either, despite several emails. They have, however, asked us to return the incorrect product by taking it to a location for courier despatch, which is difficult for us to get to. The question remains… do they actually sell RSPB bird seed which they advertised? As far as we’re concerned they are in breach of contract and/or misrepresentation. We will never use this company again and believe that they are unethical traders.

I ordered a large zz plant from them. The plant they sent me had heavy root and stem rot all over. They’ve obviously overwatered it and tried to cosmetically cleanup the plant.

Do not bother here, profit over quality. I ordered two plants at £30+ a plant. They crammed both plants into a box that was too small. Every leaf, and I am not being dramatically quite literally every leaf was damaged and one was pushed out of its post because of the force against the other plant when pushed into the box. Sent a nice e-mail on 11/07/2026 to explain my concerns. They ghosted me. Took my money, provided me a plant that is significantly more expensive and poorer quality than B&Q. I intentionally purchased from a smaller brand to spread some spending as renovating my house and didn't feel this purchase needed to go to B&Q, I regret it. Go elsewhere, don't trust them. Would happily engage in some conversation about my experience of Plants Depot reached out, but I have no faith based on my attempts

FRAUDS - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING Ordered 5 plant pots 29/4 - got phone call early May to say not in stock got different colour bit only 1 of the sizes, or refund I requested by email, phone ( left message) text message as phone number is a mobile no Email bounced back on their own email stated I’m site - no response or my money back either This company is nothing short of fraudsters How does any customer service company be able to trade taking peoples money in good faith and simply keeping it without supplying goods paid for That is stealing !!! BE WARNED

Horrible delivery ! I have ordered plants from many online companies and always received them intact . The plant depot delivery box was upside down when it arrived . My rubber plant leaves were broken and the crotons stems were broken . The only plant that survived was lucky bamboo as it was properly packed . There was no plants inside symbol on the box and the up sign arrows were small due to which the delivery guy or the parcel company handled it roughly like any other box ! I could see the plants were healthy but due to improper packing and delivery the plants were broken and damaged . Such a shame ! Will never be ordering again through this company

I ordered those 4 plants from the website, and despite my diligent care—keeping them in optimal locations and adhering to the recommended watering schedule—they have begun to deteriorate significantly. The leaves have started to turn yellow, indicating distress, which is concerning. The plants appear to be wilting, despite being adequately watered and given the right amount of light. They seem to be losing vitality, which is disappointing given the care I have provided. I have followed all the care instructions provided with the plants, ensuring they are in suitable conditions for growth. It is disheartening to see them decline in health so quickly after purchase. The plants looked quite "poky" and unhealthy when they arrived, which I believe was partly due to how they were packed for shipping.
