Hi Vincent, We wanted to reach back out to you and thank you - your review helped us identify a bug in our checkout process. You're right, the shipping did show $150, and that was the incorrect amount. The shipping fees defaulted to the fees for the PKT Cube, which is a significantly larger and heavier device than the PKT Mini. It's important to note, you haven't been charged this amount yet, it was part of the remaining balance that would charge after your preorder shipped. The preorders that were reflecting this amount have been changed, and when the PKT Minis ship, they will be charged the correct amount. We hope this clears things up. We are glad to learn that the setup is easy to use. We wanted to address your comment about profitability since your comment is an exaggeration of the reality. Currently PKT Cubes are earning around 500-800PKT a day. Some even earning 1000PKT per day at todays difficulty and competition. Let’s call it 700PKT x 30 days/month = 21,000PKT per month. Today PKT is at $0.0025 which equals $52.50 per month. So if the price of PKT never increases it would take 3.9 years to make your money back, if you were liquidating your PKT every month to pay for your PKT Cube. But if you hold and wait for the market to recover you’d earn around 252,000 PKT per year, minus the decimation every 100 days = approximately 176,400 PKT. When PKT began the coin was trading at $0.001 and people started mining knowing it would take over a year to get their money back if the project never took off (and this was without a liquid market as we have now), but the coin went to $0.065 (twice). Most of them made a killing. 176,400PKT at $0.065 = $11,466 per year. That’s a 4.5x ROI if PKT only get back to where it was twice over the past year. If PKT exceeds that in the next bull run 12-16 months from now (which is when the cycle is predicted) then it’s obviously a lot more. The other thing to keep in mind is that your internet bill is always thought of as a cost. So making any profit is counted as gains you otherwise never would have had.
