Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend As a small business owner, I hired Pixel with the hope of building a clean, functional website to support client booking and payments. Unfortunately, the entire experience was marked by poor communication, missed expectations, and a lack of accountability. Despite paying $900, I never received a live, usable website. Key questions—like where I intended to host the site or whether I already had a domain—were never asked upfront, which led to unnecessary complications and additional costs later in the process. When I raised concerns, I was often met with dismissive responses or explanations that shifted blame rather than providing real solutions. In the end, I had to build my own website independently—one that better reflects my brand and provides the features I originally requested. I would not recommend this company, particularly to entrepreneurs or small businesses looking for thoughtful partnership, reliable delivery, and professionalism. I hope my experience helps others avoid the same frustration.

At Pixel Genesys, we take our clients and their projects very seriously and always strive to deliver a smooth and positive experience. In your particular case, we encountered limitations due to your domain being registered with Wix prior to our involvement. As per domain provider policies, a new domain cannot be transferred until it is at least 90 days old. Since your site was developed on WordPress and Wix does not support WordPress hosting, this created challenges outside of our control. We had proposed options, including launching your website temporarily on a different domain while waiting for the transfer period, but you opted to hold off. Please note that the complete website source files were delivered to you so you retain full ownership and flexibility moving forward. In addition, we issued a $150 refund—without you requesting it—for hosting, since your domain was not hosted through us. We value your feedback and will continue improving our communication to prevent similar situations in the future.
