I recently bought several boxes of pipers crisps in a variety of flavours as in the past they have always been a favourite of mine - I tried the sea salt and they were awful and tasted stale and hardly any taste - I tried a beef also and these had exactly the same stale taste with hardly any flavour - their shelf life was until Dec 26 so they def were not out of date altho def tasted it - I am returning all my bought items as whatever pipers have done they are inedible - I’ll never ever buy this brand again

Got cider vinegar & sea salt. Had to search where to leave a review as they were soo bad! Practically no vinegar flavour, only salt. I mean I know crisps need to be salty but these hurt my mouth. It’s like eating salt with some dried up ‘substance’ as you can’t even taste potato. On top of that they were super greasy. I mean most of them were translucent because of amount of grease. Finally, i got curious about ‘Est. by farmers’ logo on packet. Well funny they don’t put current owners on logo and that’s because it is PepsiCo, multinational corporation that does not pay taxes here in UK!

I like these crisps when they are fresh and as they are meant to be, but find increasingly that when I open a bag even with a long sell by date, they are often stale and soft with a rancid taste. I also notice that many crisps have black marks on them. I suppose I should return the stale packs to Sainsbury’s but I don’t always eat them immediately so have thrown away the receipt. They are certainly not what they used to be. I would also only ever buy them when on offer as £3 for a 150gm bag is nonsensical.

I like crisps.. A LOT! So maybe I'm a bit of an expert here 🤣 Anyway. I have tried all brands, flavours, types from very posh to standard.... Have to say Pipers crisps are up there with the best. Recently I spahed out £6 on some extra fancy ones from M&S which were obviously great but only on a par with Pipers. Quite hard to get hold of from anywhere but Sainsbury's which is a shame

My favourite crisps brand! Don’t ever change your product or flavours they are the best!

Tried the beef flavour and it was very weak ive had stronger from own brand supermarkets not worth £3 in my opinion

These crisps are slightly better than walkers, they are thicker than walkers, its a shame that most of the crisp market is now owned by pepsico or kp, would be nice if independent crisp makers stayed true to themselves instead of selling their souls to the multi nationals. Overpriced as they all are.

These are usually nice crisps and some of the best of the more popular brands, but I have been disappointed with the quality and customer services recently. I opened a fresh bag nearly two weeks ago (sea salt) to find that all of the crisps felt stale when biting into them. Whilst this is difficult to prove, I contacted the company using their dedicated form for complaints. I have yet to hear back from them. If they weren't stale before, they certainly are now!
