At one time, this was a great company. If I got an invitation, there was almost always a survey, I was allowed to comment (which I love), and they paid well. Something changed. I have gotten only a few of these in the past year or so. Most surveys are closed before I even get there; they are badly oversubscribing. Today, it was closed 2 minutes after I got the email notice, but reopened. I wasn't qualified. Most surveys I am not qualified for. My balance has been stagnant for many months. As soon as I get a few more dollars, I will cash out and quit the company. If I ever do.

Your choice.
Had a balance of money in my account, not a lot, and had been a member for a couple of years.Suddenly, without any warning they closed my account saying I no longer was in their target group and I lost my banked cash. Not a company I would deal with ever again There are plenty of others who value their members better than this shower out there, pick one of them.

For around the last 6+ months it has got worse
For around the last 6+ months it has told ne survey closed, even though I responded within 10-15minutes of receiving invitation.
Now it is worse.
I actually managed to start a survey and after around 5 minutes of entering responses, it freezes then issues the usual "unfortunately you do not match the criteria...".
All this is happeneing since they changed the points required to claim a gift from 900 to 1000,
When you do contact them they basically ignore you and try and fob you off with the "FAQS"
I now want to try and spend my 935 points so I can leave this NFFP survey supplier

Terrible behaviour for a company
This used to be good but in past 6 months has become very poor and basically a scam at this point. They send survays that ask for qualifying questions that give them the data they need, but then they tell you you dont qualify so dont get paid even though you have spent 15 mins answering questions. Disgusting way to treat people who have been loyal to them for years.

A bad survey site
I started doing Pinecone Research Surveys 18 years ago and always considered them to be one of the very best sites. Then earlier this year they launched their new web site and rules. I went to redeem my points in February and the PayPal option, which I had always used, is no longer available, so I had to chose a reward that is of no use to me. They also have a new rule that if you don't claim your points within one year you lose them. So if you don't receive enough surveys, or get screened out, you could end up not being paid for the work you've done. As the ratings on here indicate, it's gone from one of the best to one of the worst and I would recommend that you don't waste your time.

Pinecone Research surveys are a scam
Pinecone Research surveys are a scam, and I’m certain of this based on my experience. If you complain about it, they will manipulate your account, preventing you from taking any more surveys.
The high number of negative reviews this company has on Trustpilot and other review sites provides ample evidence to support everything I’m telling you here.
Let's start with the surveys. You're given, say, a 10-minute survey with a monetary value. Nine minutes into the survey, you're cut off. You suddenly get an error message. You're disconnected from the survey.
This happened regularly to me. I switched browsers, thinking it was a browser issue. Then I started reading about other people having the same issue. It seems like the sponsor giving the survey gets enough information from you and then cuts you off before your survey is complete, so you don't get paid.
I would complain to Pinecone Research regularly about this. At first, they would compensate me for the lost survey points. But then, as the problems became more frequent, I asked them why this was happening and if I would be wasting my time continuing to do these surveys. They wouldn't respond.
Next, after complaining, I noticed that every survey offered to me became immediately unavailable when I clicked on it. This happened seconds after the survey appeared in my email. It became apparent that Pinecone Research had manipulated my account so that I could no longer take surveys or use the points they had given me.
When I wrote and asked them why this was happening, they refused to respond.
So, the bottom line is that you're going to waste a lot of your time dealing with Pinecone Research. Your surveys will be cut off before they are completed. If you ask to be compensated for your time, your account will be manipulated so you can no longer take surveys.
