Not the typical home inspection
I feel bad that it is taking me so long to write this review. This is the first one that I’ve ever done for anybody, but I’m pretty sure that I was the first inspection that these guys did, and they were so much help that I feel like everybody should know. Back in May of this year, I was moving from Virginia to Pennsylvania. Not buying a house, but renting one, and the house was brand new but since I know so little about houses, I wanted a professional to tell me that it was worth signing the lease. Lou and Jaryd from The Keystone Team of Pillar To Post were absolutely amazing! Like I said, this was a brand new house and had never been lived in so there should be no issues. But they found several things including three leaky sink drains, doors that needed to be trimmed to close properly, missing insulation around the basement door, which was causing so much heat loss, but most important they found a gas leak that I couldn’t even smell, but may have been a real danger once I was completely moved in and may have never noticed. Of course, the landlord took care of everything. And I think it was an eye-opening experience for both of us. I highly recommend The Keystone Team, even if you’re not buying a home. Imagine what they could find in a house that you’ve been living in so long that you never thought to look.
