The only disappointment I felt with the course was that it did not investigate how to play the melody of a song. I know that you touched an it in the last lesson, but I felt that it didn't explain that sufficiently. What you land up with is a very good course on backing a singer on the piano not what I really wanted, but useful. However what you did for me was to show how much better the piano sounds when chords are played in the right hand instead of the left , and how effective the left hand sounds when a lot less notes are played.Overall I think I can say that the lessons set me on a different course, one that sounds a lot better than my previous attempts. I think it is an excellent method to learn piano quickly to a point one can enjoy playing songs within a reasonable time. As with anything else, practice makes perfect and without it a person isn't going to learn anything to any reasonable degree. I think this is a great program for us folks who have had trouble in the past learning piano. It's great

I am now on lesson 11 and have learnt a great deal, but need a lot longer than 21days. I currently spend about 3 to 4 days on each lesson.

He is a great teacher and explains music theory in an easy-to-understand way. I have greatly improved my piano skills! Personally, several more improvisation techniques would have helped, and I would have enjoyed a lesson on how to use fake books and/or specifically how to play the melody with the right hand and accompany with the left. But, that said, the course has been a great launchpad for me. Since taking it I have been scouring the internet for intermediate-level videos and have, for the first time in several decades, been able to sit down at the piano and actually enjoy myself. It was worth the time and money for me!

Originally a sceptic a week in I am being won over. I love that the course is pitched at adults. I am already gaining some piano confidence (which is more than my battle with traditional lessons could offer). There are some bits that I find slightly difficult to identify the end aim of the lesson mostly to do with speed and point of progression but I guess this is me being pedantic. Plus if any issues Jacques seems genuine and approachable which is encouraging. Looking forward to the rest of the course.

Although I am relatively new to the program, I am impressed and surprised at how easily and quickly I am picking up playing. Now, again, I am just starting the program but if it continues as it has it will be a smash.
