Piano In 21 DaysReviews of pianoin21days.com

For someone who does not have a background in reading music, 21 days is a tough goal to reach.

Great piano learning concept. My interpretation of the 21day course was I would be able to use the lessons and hand techniques learned to play alongside the tune being played and the artist singing. This not the case, so due to my misinterpretation really a bit unfair to mark 4 stars rather than 5 stars. However the other personal issue is I already play the melody of a tune from music and “by ear”with left hand chords. So I think my needs are slightly different than others. Jacques has been very helpful with advice and support. I have found the process has given me greater determination to get back to playing and learning from the course material. I intend to continue and complete the course. Thank you Jacques.

Not knowledgeable enough to give critical opinion. However, I do believe it will satisfy my original goals. My greatest challenge is my busy schedule, although retired. 21 days will most likely extend to 21weeks. I am assuming there is no absolute length requirement to the completion of this course. That being the case, I believe I will have accomplished my wish. Thanks...J

Never played before and I like the way you explain everything, I’m still only up to day 7 as I’m finding it hard to get both hands to play at the same time and play the left hand on the right note with the right hand cords!

I am finding the course very good. As I am travelling frequently, progress is slow

I’ve enjoyed my experience this far. I had a situation where the YouTube video links were not working at one point, just a quick email to Jacques and we were able to resolve it quickly. The only issue I have had is the timing of the release of the program is too close to the holidays to complete in 21 days, of course I knew I would not complete in that time frame regardless (Jacques does an excellent job explaining the program before you buy). Honestly, if you think you are a match for this program go for it!

Thanks Jacques for inspiring me to pick up the piano again after the typical failed childhood experience with classical piano doing scales and exams. This is something quite different and much more enjoyable. The course is based on learning to play chords, much like strumming along to a song on the guitar. Jacques teaches you how to find the chords to popular songs and practice along to the music video before breaking free and improvising on your own. I haven't quite finished the course yet, it's probably going to take me 3 months not 21 days, but you decide what pace you go at. It's good, it's fun, it's motivating because you feel you're making fast progress. I wish the video classes were longer and the explanations on the improvisation techniques more detailed. It's difficult to see what Jacques is doing exactly that makes his improvisations sound a lot better than mine. But I'm sure it will come with practice. Like anything, there's no easy ride, you do have to work at it and practice! Jacques does answer questions by email if you're stuck. This is an online purchase I don't regret!

Hello Jacques, Thanks for inspiring me to take the 21 day piano course. I decided to take a little longer in completing the course because I work full time. I have learned so much and I can play three 4 chord songs using my sustained pedal. I know that I need to work on my improvisation techniques and that is why I am glad the course allows me to come back as long as I need to.
