The Worst Experience
The service is extremely disappointing. There are consistently long waiting times, regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
Despite ordering repeat prescriptions several days or even more than a week in advance, it can still take far too long to receive my medication. This is particularly concerning when the medication is urgently needed.
Collecting the medication is another frustrating experience. Even after waiting for a long time in the queue, there is no guarantee that all the prescribed medicines will be ready. As a result, I may have to queue again and waste even more time.
This level of service is unacceptable. Patients who order repeat prescriptions in advance should not have to experience such delays, uncertainty and repeated waiting. The pharmacy needs to improve its organisation, waiting times and prescription preparation process to provide a more reliable and efficient service.

Bad Service.
Well I waited to be served. The person served 2 people in front of me. He then went to the rear and never returned. I waited a total of 15 minutes to be served.
The person who then came asked if I was being served. Not the best of customer service. The store was Longwell Green.

The car park only has three hours free parking…..
Asda pharmacy Burgh Heath is painfully slow. Waiting times are ridiculous, 10 minutes so far and two in front of me waiting and often they do not have my medication in stock so have to come back. Get a grip Asda. You’re clearly penny pinching on both staffing and stock. You do not deserve one star!

Asda Shaw
Asda Shaw - I telephoned ahead to check they had my prescription in. They didn’t have it in so confirmed they would order it and it would be ready the next day. They said I required an appointment with the pharmacist before being able to take my prescription home so booked me in for an appointment (for which there were no appointments for 3 days). I attended the pharmacy for my appointment at the time given 3 days later and they had no idea what I was talking about, said there was no pharmacist in who was able to give me the prescription and could not re-arrange a further appointment as “we don’t know when the pharmacist will be in”. I asked what the best way to deal with this would be and she told me to go back to my doctors. It shouldn’t be this hard to collect a prescription!

Horrendous - made worse by Jennifer in Linwood
I genuinely cannot remember the last time I experienced customer service this appalling.
I went to the Linwood pharmacy today at around 12:45pm to collect a prescription that I had been told two days previously was ready to collect. When I arrived, it wasn’t there.
Somehow, despite me having done exactly what I was supposed to do, sorting out their mistake very quickly became my problem.
I was left trying to resolve a situation I had not created, while worrying about being late back from my lunch break and potentially being left out of pocket. Then 1pm arrived, the pharmacy closed for lunch and the pharmacist left, despite the fact I had arrived around 15 minutes before closing and was still trying to deal with the mess surrounding my prescription.
Mistakes happen. Prescriptions go wrong. I can understand that. What I cannot understand is the complete lack of apology, accountability, empathy or even basic concern from the people dealing with it.
And then there was Jennifer.
Her behaviour was honestly the worst part of an already dreadful experience.
While I was visibly upset and stressed trying to sort out a problem that I had not caused, Jennifer stood smirking at me.
I actually phoned my friend specifically because I could feel myself getting increasingly upset and wanted someone to help me stay calm while I dealt with the situation. Jennifer then proceeded to laugh loudly enough in the background that my friend could hear her through the phone.
That is absolutely disgraceful behaviour from someone working in a customer-facing role, never mind in a pharmacy.
A pharmacy deals with people who may already be unwell, anxious, stressed or worried about medication. If your response to someone becoming distressed because of a problem with their prescription is to smirk and laugh, then I seriously question whether customer-facing pharmacy work is appropriate for you.
Jennifer, I hope you are proud of how you conducted yourself today. If watching a customer become increasingly stressed and upset is something you find amusing, then I can only hope it made your working day that little bit more enjoyable. Apparently showing some basic compassion was too much to ask.
I wasn't expecting anyone to perform miracles. I was expecting someone to acknowledge what had happened, help resolve it and perhaps utter the incredibly difficult words "I'm sorry."
Instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking them to resolve their own mess, while a member of staff apparently found the whole situation amusing.
Completely unprofessional. Completely unacceptable. A shambles from start to finish, made significantly worse by Jennifer's attitude and behaviour.
I certainly won't forget how I was treated today.

Had to wait over 20 mins for scheduled appointment and charged more than advised
I recently booked a private flu jab at the Asda pharmacy. When I booked it said the cost was £14.97. I arrived on time for my appointment at 2pm and was told there were others in front of me and given no apology. I queried if they were walk ins as I had a booked appointment but I was just asked to wait. I was then asked to fill in a questionnaire online ahead of my appointment which i did. When I went to pay I was told it was £17.57. I queried as when I booked it was £14.97. The assistant said to query with the pharmacist. When I was finally seen by the pharmacist, over 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I mentioned about how long I’d been kept waiting and the price difference and was told it was Asda that set the price and they had put it up since I booked my appointment which I find disingenuous. I had no option but to pay it. All in all a terrible experience, there is no point booking an appointment as they run late, no apology and charge you more than you were advised in the booking process. Will never go back there and I now remember why I stopped shopping at Asda.

⁹the worst pharmacy service I have ever…
⁹the worst pharmacy service, London Rd I have ever known. Long awaits and the team dont seem to know what they are doing, spend more time chatting in the back. Prescriptions are never ready and they ask you for your sensitive information in front of others, i was asked did I need it, to which i replied i wouldnt have travelled half way across the city in heavy traffic if I didn't need it, he went back to the pharmacist to see if they could do it for me returning to ask me the same question! There was only 1 person in front of me. would not recommend
