INSPECT YOUR PURCHASE!!! The first pair of Buttercut shears I got in the mail had a squeak and slight cosmetic damage, so I asked for a replacement. These photos are the replacement shears - both blades have heavy, visible damage. Geib is known for top notch quality control, that’s why I pay top dollar for them. I actually can’t believe these were shipped out in this condition. Customer service is nice but extremely difficult to reach, I called 15 times in a row the first time and 17 times the second before anyone picked up the phone. They agreed to replace the shears both times when I provided photos, but this whole process isn’t really what I expect when I order top tier items from a “reputable” retailer. It’s been stressful, disappointing, and really inconvenient since I need these for work.
