PetprovacReviews of petprovac.com

So dont bye from Them

Hi Petprovac I got the item after about 2months and its performance is worst than i think , dont connect with the app and connection get lost every 4/5minutes then it appears newteork error and in darkness nothing visible so and i would not recomment anybody

My experience with Petrovac was one of the least pleasant consumer experiences I've ever had. I ordered the PawGuard Cat Locator With Microchip and GPS for about 75 Euro even though there were similar pet GPS locators for around 20-30. Nonetheless I figured that my cat's safety was worth the extra I was willing to pay. I was wrong. After a significant wait of nearly a month it arrived, however it did not specify it needed a separate 2G or lower sim card in order to function, so another week to order that. Finally I was ready to activate the GPS however the housing around the sim card port was cheaply constructed and did not fit flush with the casing, as a result the sim card entered the casing above the port and was stuck rattling around the inner components. Needless to say I was not going to damage the casing in order to retrieve the sim card. I suppose it is also worth mentioning that the app which is used to locate one's pet also did not function as I was unable to proceed past the registration page, in which I received a notification that THAT major problem had been fixed however I will never be able to confirm that because of my sim card issue. All of that said the request for a return shipping label to China was never issued despite the dozens of emails exchanged asking me to jump through one hoop after another, providing video evidence ect. I suspect that it was a bot all along whose main goal was to sugarcoat me with kind responses that were an endless amount of repetitive banter. The main goal I believe was to stall the process long enough for the 30 day return policy to expire. In that endeavor they were successful. Even if I had received a working product and app I would still not recommend the product. It was larger than pictured and if you have a fussy cat (or dog) they may not be agreeable to a bulky box around their neck, let alone the hazard of them catching it on something and injuring themselves or worse. As mentioned it was cheaply constructed and my guess not especially weather resistant. The technology seemed quite dated with a usb-b charger and judging by the parts of the app I did see offered a very dated user experience. So negative stars if that was possible, avoid this company who provides an overpriced product and worse customer service.

My experience with this company was disappointing. When I requested documentation relating to a transaction, I was unable to obtain the information I needed despite repeated follow-up. Although responses were generally prompt and polite, the matter was not resolved satisfactorily. The lack of transparency and failure to provide the requested documentation left me with no choice but to involve my bank. Based on this experience, I would not do business with this company again.
