Save your money.
If I went to my local Rite Aid I could buy Calcium, Vitamin D, apple pectin, spirulina, and a probiotic for less than $55 a month. For an open Roux-en-Y bariatric patient, with malabsorption issues one would think that a multi-vitamin and mineral complex would have been the first order of business. I was hopeful. I was expecting a pharmacist whose insight into bariatrics and nutrition would have changed my outlook, my care, and my overall wellness. Honestly, not a high bar to clear these days. The daily packs are nice as long as you get exactly what you need in the amount you require. Otherwise, buy some small bags from the pharmacy to separate your own meds. (just ask the pharmacist about the bags) they are usually in the pill organizer sections. Also, if you would like the same daily dosage bags for your Rx meds CVS will put all your scripts into multiple dosage packs the same way Persona does with vitamins. Usually in one month intervals. It’s on their website. Good luck!!
