My opinion of the packaging, food and ingredients. The positive is the food is Potion controlled and packaged. Serval food items and sauces contain corn syrup. Which is sugar!

The food is okay. I lost weight. But it is basically like eating no carb. You eat a protein and a vegetable. Breakfast is egg and a meat. The plan gets boring quick, is pricey and in my opinion, frozen vegetables are just not good. I would rather eat fresh veggies prepared in a variety of ways instead of frozen and reheated.

Food - 5 stars. Absolutely awesome!!! They are seriously awesome burgers and amazingly good Dill chicken patties, etc. And the veggies are yummy and taste really fresh. The shipping - three stars, sometimes two, but often out of their control. So much has arrived unfrozen that I stock my freezer in order of how it should be eaten. One box had to be completely reshipped. And I've had this trouble even in the winter intne northeast. The boxes sit in warehouses of the shipping companies, and thaw, until the correct delivery date. Or weather blocks everything up. Or the Christmas "rush" means it's 3 days late because FedEx is overwhelmed. So try to pick a week with moderate weather and no giant online sales and you might be ok!

For simple to cook, food in a bag, all the selections are quite tasty. Portion size of the veggies is inconsistent, so sometimes wishing for more. Makes it very easy to eat healthy when you're cooking for one, or for hectic schedules that don't allow for a lot of sit-down family meals. The only negative is it's a pain to organize in the freezer.

I appreciate the service. Food is good. I"m in the beginning of my 3rd week and have maintained 7 pounds lost - despite cheating on the weekends.

Easiest way to lose weight. Really enjoy food and since i’ve lost 20 pounds i’m Still enjoying the food. My husband and I don’t like to cook. This is a perfect way for us to eat.

Love additional recipes for the food shipped. Nice variety. Meals are excellent.

For the cost, the food should be AT LEAST as good as something you could alternatively buy as a frozen meal at your local grocery store; but it is NOT. Too many times, I find hard stems in the beans, fat in the meats, grizzle in the meat. It just seems like they use very poor quality food to reduce costs and the flavors just are not that great. Also, the choices are not flexible - you are FORCED to order certain numbers of certain type of meals, so you end up with items you are not thrilled to have. Honestly, I have been way more satisfied with the quality, cost and variety of Adkins frozen meals.
