I ordered mens shirts but my order was canceled because of an overwhelming response. I was told to try to order the merchandise at a later date and would still have the sale prices honored but I needed them for a birthday present and they would have arrived too late.

This is about the third time I placed an order for something that was initially in stock only to receive an email days later to be informed that item is no longer available.

Ordered a charcoal overcoat 3xs. 1st order said in stock. Only to inquire after 2wks that is was out of stock. 2nd order, after 3 inquiries and 20 days found out the shipment was lost in transit by the carrier. 3rd order, …. I hope this time it arrived. Perry Ellis should bring back their 800 customer service line. Online chat is a waste of time and inefficient. Ugggg!!!

The ongoing issue with Perry Ellis is the actual stock availability on items listed for sale. I try to do ordering so that I take advantage of free shipping. In my last order, I ordered $120 more than the amount needed to get free shipping, but ended up with only two out of 5 items that were listed as being in stock. If you could roll out a system that stated what the stock level was by size and colour when they are listed as in stock, it would be greatly appreciated I am sure and make for better sales too!

Their return process is extremely difficult. Must request return, get RMA Ship back. For order new items..pay again, email both documents for both orders, wait for email reply. And hope for price adjustment and shipping fee refund. No phone number no live chat. Most frustrating experience ever.they can do better.
