Hello Kurt, I apologize for the inconvenience regarding the new temporary surcharge as well as shipping costs. While certainly not as important as health, one of the many byproducts of the Covid pandemic has been a disruption of the global supply chain which caused costs for raw materials and international shipping to skyrocket across all industries and product types. These costs rose to the point where some products became unsellable. Not wanting to raise prices and feeling that these costs will recede over time, we decided that adding this TEMPORARY surcharge to help cover some of these unexpected increases would be the fairest option. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will lower or remove the surcharge as soon as feasible.
