I recently had the opportunity to take BPC 157 from PepSynth Labs. I had a torn ligament in between my index and middle fingers. As a basketball player, it had been holding me back for a while. I couldn't play at the level I wanted to, and I kept re-injuring it. The challenge is how do you continue to play when you're on certain teams and your team needs you? I put on a hand guard to protect myself, but what really changed things was being able to use this on a regular basis. I'm not one to really give myself a shot so I did have to have some help for it. For some people that might not be a big issue, but if you're not a person to give yourself shots, it is a thing you're going to struggle with taking on. But it is really thin, and if you have someone to help you then it can be totally feasible... for me it has been a really good process. I went from a constant place of pain to feeling it working and the swelling going down, honestly, a lot quicker than I thought I would... under a month, like two or two and a half weeks. Usually, it was a two-week minimum per re-injury just seeing my hand flare up again. I'm in my late 30s, and our bodies just don't recover the same like they used to. As someone who used to do training with athletes and basketball players, I've dealt with a lot of sprains, tears, and ligament issues. The road to recovery for so many athletes can be so long and grueling. It can take weeks to months just to get things to actually work out and heal. When you need that extra lift to get there faster, it's great to understand what options are out there. As somebody who already uses red light therapy, strength training, and mobility work, this was just such a great addition to what I was already doing. It made a noticeable difference in that stack, and that’s super important to note. Meg was also amazing when I talked to her. She gave me a lot of insight, and she was there to help me through that step of the way. It's a big piece to put all that together. Having that extra option that actually delivers makes a massive difference. I would definitely use them again.
