Scammers, buyer beware. They sell laptops as brand new, with a manufactures warranty. Their laptops are modified with cheap components and they are not an authorized HP dealer at all despite the HP logos and branding all over their listings. I found out the hard way, the laptop failed after 11 months, I went to the listing on amazon to get help with the product, it directed me to HP so I sent it to HP, that is when I learned PCOnline US is not an authorized HP dealer and their warranties are not valid from day 1 and HP refused to fix my laptop. I had to call amazon to find out who the seller actually was because every link on the product page claims HP was the seller. Furthermore and I will do a separate post on amazon, but DO NOT trust amazon reviews they block negative reviews on these scammers.

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased an HP OMEN laptop from this company via amazon last year because of the posting stating everything I wanted. It had all the high end specs and provided warranty I wanted in a gaming laptop. A month before the "warranty" was supposed to have expired the motherboard had a mechanical failure (Upon researching the issue, it was a well known design flaw from HP) So with high hopes, I attempt to contact HP to get warranty support (literally had less than a week left, so I thought) and the HP spokesperson informed me that my laptop DID NOT have a valid warranty because it was originally only good for when the third party vendor bought the laptop! I then attempt to contact the seller via amazon and the seller closes the inquiry almost immediately without even responding to my issue. The seller falsely advertises a valid warranty with purchase, has it in the listing for the world to see, and it is in fact NOT a valid warranty at all. I've been running through hoops with amazon to get this rectified, they finally made an exception and let me return the product and after they email me that they received the product, I see they are trying to say a return fee of the total price of the laptop is STILL owed! After more chatting with another amazon representative, there is hope on the horizon that I should get my full refund. Do not buy anything from PCONLINE US, this company is a fraudulent and dishonest company that sells subpar hardware and is only trying to take customers money. They should not be allowed to continue selling on amazon either.

Purchased a laptop for gift from PC Online on Amazon.com and received an empty envelope that would not even fit a laptop nor would you send a laptop in a brown envelope. Though it was marked 15 pounds. Total Scam. Then had to fight amazon and pconline for full refund as they were only going to refund the laptop and not the 230.00 in sales tax. I am happy to upload photo evidence as I had to sign for the shipment, so had UPS deliver drive stand and film as I opned the package as we both said no way 15 pound anything is in the envelope. It was empty.

I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 2 laptop from PCOnline through Amazon for $796.43. After returning it, I was refunded only $318.57-$363.03 -- a shortfall of $433-478, roughly 55-60% of what I paid. Amazon's own records show why: its "Return Requests" record for this order names the item as the E16 Gen 2 I actually bought, but its "Order History" record for the same order and same product ID names a completely different, lower-value item -- a ThinkPad E14 Gen 6. I checked this twice, a month apart, and both records disagreed identically both times. I emailed PCOnline directly asking them to confirm what was shipped and returned and to issue the remaining refund. No response so far. I've since filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and IC3.gov. Based on other reviews here describing similar mismatched-item and unresponsive-support patterns, this looks like a recurring issue, not a one-off mistake.

I bought an HP laptop from PCOnline US thru Amazon. The listing was deceptive and did not disclose that they modified the laptop with non-standard parts so when the SSD, which never worked right, outright failed, HP would not fix it under warranty. They also change their name frequently to avoid negative reviews from their fraudulent practices and don't honor Amazon's policies.

I bought this computer online at Best Buy or so I thought. I received it on 03/25/2026. It was my first laptop and I did not know that Windows 11 Pro was not installed until after I had used One Drive to load my documents and personal information. I went to Best Buy store to see what was wrong; they would not help and stated I needed to go home and make an appointment. When I contacted the Best Buy help desk the information they gave was that I had bought a computer from Best Buy Market Place. That was news to me. Best Buy states they bear no responsibility for this computer. Microsoft installed Windows and I am asking for return of that money ($199). Today I unplugged the computer to test the battery and it went down to 1/4 full after two hours. I did not play videos or music. This company is fraudulent. Please do not buy from them.

Having an abysmal time trying to resolve installation issue on a “new” laptop received from PC Online through Best Buy. It is clear that the laptop is refurbished, and the Windows 11 Pro software I was informed at time of purchase was included in the pricing has an invalid Product Key. I am receiving a error message that the version of the software is invalid and therefore, unauthorized. I have written emails no less than three times, have contacted Microsoft who tried and alternate Product Key, and have written to the corporate office. My next step is to contact a news outlet to expose what I feel is a dishonest representation to customers of both products and service. I, too, am going through the Best Buy corporate office for resolution. I plan to return the laptop and purchase a legitimate product. PCOnline contacted me through Best Buy once, but I have not heard from them again. This is not yet resolved, but I will not let this issue go. It is abhorrent to treat customers ok this way.

They sent a laptop labeled as new with 32G of RAM (Intel). It supposedly had a factory warranty. They had modified the laptop with 2 4G Samsung, which voided the warranty. It never worked correctly. They would not respond at all. Luckily I purchased it from Amazon and they indemnified me. Do not buy from these unscrupulous sellers.
