PCAudioLabsReviews of pcaudiolabs.com

I ordered an MC-X desktop, and it handled a recent project from initial concept and arrangement with plugin amps and synths, through recording and mixing, and finally through mastering without the need to render tracks to save CPU. PCAudioLabs was able to customize even further so I could still use old SSDs from my old PC. It was a very quick process to replace my old setup, and everyone at PCAudioLabs was extremely friendly and great to work with. I’m extremely happy with the results.

This is a follow-up to my review of the computer bought for my studio. My Intel NUC office computer hit end of life, so I decided to replace it with a PC Audio Labs mini-PC Rok Box. This review is more about their support, because the computer had strange intermittent problems. Although it passed all possible hardware diagnostic tests, it would run perfectly for many hours and then freeze for no repeatable reason. Brian suggested possible Windows-oriented fixes, but they didn't solve the issue. After several days of realizing the intermittent problem wasn't going to go away, they replaced it with an entirely new unit. The new unit has worked perfectly. Initially, I was concerned that a Rok Box would be overkill for email, writing books, updating my website, doing finances, etc. and that I probably had overspent. So it was kind of gamble, as I was debating about buying a less expensive Mac Mini. But I've since found the Rok Box mini-PC is powerful enough that the office has become my "Studio B." In additional to *blazing* through office-type tasks, it runs DAWs and video editing programs beautifully. It was perhaps an unconventional choice to use a Rok Box as an office computer, but ultimately, it has ended up as doing much more, and doing it far better, than what I had expected. The bonus is that having two separate, differently optimized media creation/editing environments has some real advantages.

I recently purchased a Rok Box MCZ Power from PCAudioLabs, customized for MIDI with Cubase. It arrived a few days before the expected delivery date. I have installed several large sample libraries, everything works great! When I needed some tech advice their folks were very helpful and quick to respond. I've been using MIDI to compose music for about 20 years and I know that MIDI requires the correct configuration of Windows settings and hardware to work well, so rather than try to build or adapt a computer I chose to turn to the experts, and I'm happy I did. For me, I don't want to spend time making the computer work, I want to compose music! I seldom write reviews, but the experience with PCAudioLabs was outstanding.

PCAudioLabs laptop has met every possible need in production, and being a drummer it has done everything and still does everything I needed to do. The support from Brian has been absolutely amazing since day one! If you are thinking of going with PCAudioLabs don't waste any time with others I believe they are truly the best in all of my experiences with this company.

PC Audio Labs RokBox Review I recently purchased a RokBox PC from PC Audio Labs for my studio, and I could not be happier with the experience. After using a computer I custom-built for about five years, it finally reached the end of its life. I needed a reliable replacement fast, and the team at PC Audio Labs delivered. They had me up and running with my new system in just 10 days. The new RokBox is absolutely smoking! It is fast, stable, and manages my recording and production work with ease. Fast processing and a solid built PC have lasted 10 years now and still working great! What really impressed me was their customer support. I had to contact their tech team a couple of times, and both issues turned out to be software-related on my end, not problems with the computer itself. Brian and Jayce were quick to help and resolved without any hassle. I recently as of June 2026 had my 10-year-old PC upgraded to a 1TB hard drive and used the old drive as a data drive. They did the upgrade for me very quickly! If you are looking for a professional audio workstation, I highly recommend PC Audio Labs. Their products, customer service, and technical support are second to none. Thanks, Brian and Jayce, for your outstanding service! Tony Ray Jones Backwoods Recording Studio Nashville, TN

Brian and his staff are very reliable with following up on any issues. I would highly recommend getting your production workstation with support from them! It was a smart move for sure…

Great customer support! Trustworthy computer builds! I still have mine since 2019.

The best experience I've ever had purchasing a PC. How nice it was to receive this great machine, and having a few questions, being able to talk with an actual human. Very rare today and differentiates this company from the rest. All that, and the PC is extremely well built and fits my needs perfectly.
