I have two cats, and enjoy going on holiday when I get the chance. For longer holidays, I have tended to use a cattery, but for shorter breaks, I like the cats to try to stay at home. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who can look after them. This is when I found PawShake. I was a bit dubious having a stranger come to my home, so it was great to message and meet up first. The pet sitter was very friendly, and asked all the right questions in order to be able to look after my two cats well. I could also see how well she interacted with them. The booking process was very easy and all done through the app. The money isn't released until the end of the booking, so you know it's held securely. During the booking, the pet sitter sent me a number of pictures and messages, which allowed me to see just how happy my cats were. When I returned, I don't think they noticed I'd been gone. I found the app very easy to use, and helpful with the search, the reviews of sitters, and the messaging and meet up in advance. I certainly plan to use the app again to book someone to look after my cats.
