This is the next best thing to being in your own home! We initially booked our dog in at a local reputable boarding kennel where he 'failed' his trial day within 15 minutes for being too anxious. The next day we booked him in for boarding at a sitters home and ..... he had the time of his life and received great feedback from the sitter! Now how do you compare that? This is a great service, allowing you to select a suitable person who is available to meet your requirements. People sign up because they love animals, so want to look after them well. We have our pet sitters stay in our home, with everything already set up for our dog, where we know she is comfortable, happy and safe there, and our house is occupied as well so it is more secure. Easy to see availability and likely suitability online, plus a meet up before confirming ensures that the pet and sitter are happy with each other in advance. This has worked well for us, as kennels have become less suitable for our dog as she gets older.

Pawshake enabled us to go away for the weekend and know that our dog was being taken care of. It was nice to know he was getting one on one care, with play, walks, and his normal bed to sleep in. Glad to find this service!

Really good service. My sitter was very nice. She knew how to deal with my young amstaff. I am always scared to leave my boy. But he loves it there.

I am happy with this app. There wer enough options in the neighborhood. and I was also satisfied with my pet sitter. She was so gentle and good at dealing with cats. my cat was even purring and showing her belly to the sitter, which is not usual for such a shy coward cat. I highly recommend this app. app is clear and has all the profile info of the sitter. also I liked the rating system and history of the sitter. I also felt I could trust this app and the pet sitters in the app. I hope more people to use it and also more pet sitters to use it, so I dont need to worry about finding pet sitter in the future.
