Pawshake a massive thumbs down
Like another person's experience Pawshake started out well enough. Easy to use and the people using the website were lovely and still are. Unfortunately I was flagged at some point and then encountered Sam who has also been mentioned previously. 15 emails later and no further advances. Sam is robotic, impossible to deal with and is putting Pawshake back by 10 years. Although I had 2 future bookings showing I was a loyal user of their website they insisted my account be "paused" until I could get a future booking. I explained how difficult this could be as no new clients can see you. I finally had one client agree to book a sitting and still they wouldn't reinstate my account. I told Sam repeatedly that he could call me to discuss further but he never did. He seemed unable to use the telephone and instead only emailed insisting the same thing over and over. Sam showed no understanding about Australia, Pet sitting or about the welfare of any pets. I sincerely doubt that Sam owns a pet. I would recommend staying clear of this website and signing on to an easier to use website. I think it is fine if all goes well but if there is any issue there is zero recourse and that's not a good place to be in. I have now asked them to cancel my future bookings as it isn't worth any more emails to this nasty company. They are certainly not about community or pets.
