Very very disappointed. Booked sitter through PawShake and paid her to visit our pets every day however when we got home, cat litter tray was completely saturated so wet litter hadn't been removed for days. Bird feeders were overflowing and the chooks water was filthy. Complained to PawShake and despite sending them photos, we were treated as though we were making it up!!! Dodgy as. Would never trust them with our pets again and would not recommend at all. Hardly surprising they don't let people leave reviews on their FB page!

Ik wacht als oppasser, nog steeds op mijn betaling van mijn beste klant, waarvan 2 van hun hondjes bijna de ganse maand augustus bij mij zijn geweest, het antwoord van de klantendienst was dat er zogezegd in augustus een probleem zou zijn geweest met de automatische betalingen (vreemd, want ik had meerdere klanten en reservaties in deze periode, wel kleinere bedragen en deze betalingen heb ik allemaal ontvangen). Dit gaat echter om een aanzienlijk bedrag, we zijn nu bijna half september, de hondjes zijn alweer 2 weken thuis, baasjes zeer tevreden, hebben zelfs al opnieuw geboekt én betaald aan Pawshake voor de herfstvakantie (betaling aan oppas hoort binnen de week te gebeuren) en ik mocht nog steeds niets ontvangen... opletten dus met je diensten aan te bieden als oppas, want de grote bedragen houden ze graag voor zichzelf blijkbaar!

Paid cat sitter to stay for 8 nights, she turned up 2 nights. House was left in darkness so easy to burgle and had it not been for my neighbours who fortunately had a key to my property the cats would have starved or run away. Do not trust these people. Paid a LOT of money for peace of mind and was duped.

Despite 5 star reviews and doing the right thing, according to Pawshake rules, I have been delisted for no good reason. I have sent endless emails to get them to activate my profile again so I can take bookings and not leave pet owners high and dry for Christmas, but no, I just get a repeat answer, "Please refrain from continuing to reply to this matter". If anyone out there is looking to register with Pawshake, DON'T, they're childish and unreasonable, they don't care about their sitters, who make money for them, or the pets we care for like they are our own. Shame Pawshake!

I am currently waiting for a reply to my enquiry for help during a bad booking. It has been three days since I sent my request for help and no response yet, which is a terrible service. As part of the service we were supposed to receive a daily update with a photo. I have not received this. My sitter has responded to my messages but usually very late and with the bare minimum in terms of update. “Yep he’s good”, for example. We chose to use PawShake because we wanted more than the bare minimum. Our neighbours could have looked in to see him twice a day but we wanted someone who was going to pay him attention and who we had paid to receive a daily update. What is more- we have trusted this person with our home and the amount of care they have shown has been shocking. She seemed great on the “meet and greet” so there was no way of knowing she would be this uncaring. This could be one bad apple in Pawshake’s register but the fact that PawShake have not responded to my enquiry for three days suggest that they either have many customers asking for help or that they simply don’t care.

ze n****n je waar je bij staat als dierenoppasser. jij doet het harde werk en zij houden 19 procent in daarvan, bij elke betaling. zij verdienen er grof op. ze zetten je zonder reden op onvindbaar, ook na mailcontact word er niks aan gedaan. misschien goed voor huisdiereigenaren maar slecht voor oppassers. er zijn genoeg andere sites die niet verdienen aan jouw harde werken verdienen.

Most people don't even reply or are suddenly unavailable. Feels like fake profiles.

Absolutely shocking service of the UK pawshake. I have been a sitter for years and at one point they put my profile offline because I removed a photo of MY dog of when he was a puppy, to change it with a recent one. There's been absolutely nothing I could do, change photo again, write to them. NOTHING. Absolute bunch of high rate incompetents. They take 19% from the sitters and yet they can't perform basic tasks on their website and seem to randomly put loads of sitters profiles on pause for NO REASON.
