This company has been very rude and unpleasant people that are very unprofessional. I had to complain about a client and how improper to message me back to confirm their time. They treated me unpleasant and unprofessionally. They don't have a proper system to send clients messages just through the app and not by having texting like Rover. They have a poor way of contacting them. I hope they will be out of business soon as they don't take things for the ones who are the pet walker or sitter. On most apps there are mandatory to have the pictures of their pets and the owners as a safety precaution. Because I felt they needed to know what the issue was they deleted my account. Very childish and uncalled for. Definitely notice the BBB for unprofessional people!

I had account for some time already but for more than a year I have not used it while I had a regular job. A few weeks ago I activated it again and they asked me to update all the information. That was OK and acceptable, I did it after a few tries and a few days later they finally accepted my profile. It was frustrating but I did it. My girl also opened an account and she needed 3 weeks to do so. Every time was something "wrong" but it was a bug in their system. We got the feeling that they declined on purpose. Maybe there is nothing to do in the company so responding with negative feedback employees spending their time. What was too much for me is that after my profile was accepted, I realized that I have one small grammar mistake. One word was written wrong so I corrected it. After that, they deactivated my account again! For only one word changed they told me to update new pictures, new descriptions, photos of location in and out... so I should update everything that was already accepted. That was the point where I was sure that they are doing this on purpose. I am not their user anymore and for 19% provision they are taking behavior should be changed. Of course, they didn't reply to my email when asking why I need to update everything again. Stay away.

The dog sitter broke my washing machine and my dishwasher. Admitted to it and pawshake said it’s not their problem and offered no solution. Completely unacceptable

Stay Away! It’s a scam! Pawshake doesn’t care about their customer or their pets, they just want to make money. My dog got sick during a pet sitters care and it should be covered by their insurance, they declined to cover my medical cost which cost more the $1000. The pet sitter was also extremely irresponsible and rude towards me, I asked Pawshake to move my dog to another sitter and they said they will not do it because they don’t see the need to do so. There is also no telephone line to reach a customer service officer, had to wait more than one month to get a reply from them about the solution. On top of that, they removed my review from the pet sitter’s Pawshake page for no reason. I want to warn pet owners against Pawshake and their iresponaible pet sitters.

I have been on pawshake as a dog sitter for nearly 2 years. The clients I met are great and I love being a sitter, but pawshake itself is badly managed. Their "premium" insurance has a cap of $2500 on all vet bills, giving a massive financial risk for both host and client (emergency vet bills are commonly in excess of $4000) The website and app is clunky, hard to use and does not guide sitter/client though the process nicely. It is also very minimal in its functions (eg. cannot offer special rates to a person, restricts the amount to charge). In the time I have used the platform has not been updated or improved at all. As a result I have decided to leave the platform and use other platforms like MadPaws.

I used to be a highly rated pet-sitter on the site, had repeat client bookings, etc. I always gave A+ care to the clients I had, including going above and beyond in several cases where the animals had special needs. All of a sudden, out of the blue my profile has been deactivated entirely and the 'customer service' has been giving me the run-around, accusing me that I am taking cash payments (which I have not been doing). The owners of the company only care about taking that 19% chunk of change they take from bookings through the site (while doing zero work to earn that money, might I add.) You are better off asking your vet or some trusted friends for a personal recommendation for a pet-sitter. Don't give your money to these vultures.

Gee!! sooooo sorry to hear about your loved one, I really hope you found, there are better people out there, so don't lose faith finding your doggo again, genuine, caring, honest people. Hope still get profit Pawfake -gotta be on for years as Petsitter hence the huge number of biased reviews (are they really genuine or all in it together)? They clearly have their favourites & like to control those even though doesn't say whatsoever in their own advertising & written anywhere -quite the contrary; or you have be working full-time with some other corrupt corporation, services limited. Petsitters could get booted off even when have no complaints and still getting plenty interest/bookings. Staff take no responsibility for their actions, no 24/7 support for sitter, approx 9mths been a sitter and unpublished for approx. 7mths / god knows how many other times, too many lies, excuses for doing this, had no issues only of their own making (staff must be bored/ lazy/just incompetent to fix anything/same issue/s eg. publish when shouldn't be unpublished). - oh wait, my mistake: it's in their terms they can delete, suspend inconvenience whenever they feel - so this why! I lost my bookings all planned months prior, nice work pawfake liars - thanks for doing this, to Owners as well, before peak. Hope you and your faves got them, so was all worth it :)) But pls making up bull lies to Owners though and tell truth it was your own issues for doing.

Worst experience! I booked through Pennie in West Albury as we were spending time with family in Sydney for 3 days. On the first morning, less than 24 hours, I received a phone call saying that my dog had escaped and she couldn't catch her. It turns out her backyard was not fully fenced as she stated in her profile but the gaps were covered by a rubbish bin. Once the bin was moved, our dog had no problem getting out. We had to cancel plans and bookings, head back to Albury and start searching. This woman was so unapologetic, blamed Daisy for getting out, did not return all the unused food, somehow lost Daisy's food bowl, kept our house keys and then slammed the door on us!! She has made no effort to find her, and she is still not home. We are absolutely heartbroken. We were supposed to be able to trust this woman and Pawshake. Do not book through Pennie in West Albury!!!
