I downloaded the App which was useful to a point. It kept saying l had no messages even though my sitter had sent some. Also l had trouble replying to some of the messages and there was no way to send my sitter a photo either. Apart from that, the booking was easy and straight forward and l liked the way l received up dates & photos from my sitter while we were away.

Great app for finding doggy day care, walkers, overnight boarding and house sitting. Easy to use, easy to pay and most importantly my puppy loves his day care days as much as I do! Would be 5/5 if the carers kept their calendars updated and if we could book recurring days.

In general pretty good. But very difficult to find sitters at short notice arising out of emergency conditions. Sitters just respond saying they are unavailable even if the calendar is open for pet sitting days. I have also had a cancellation on really short notice (2 days before sitting period began) when I had booked sufficiently in advance. I did not receive any support from pawshake with finding another host and had to make alternate arrangement myself. As an expat in this country, that can be very challenging. At least I received the full refund amount on time.

In general the Pawshake service is really good, however, there are a few issues: 1. When I make a proposed booking Pawshake take the money from my credit card IMMEDIATELY, they don't wait for the Sitter to confirm (despite what there email and website says) 2. If the booking is not confirmed, the refund takes a few days to come back to the credit card (they get the use of the money and interest for that time). 3. If booking in advance (a few weeks or months), then they still take the money. They should only take the money 1-2 weeks before the booking is scheduled to occur. 4. Some of the Sitters are unreliable, even lacking to communicate if a booking is requested or after a booking has been confirmed and is due to start. Pawshake needs to hold the Sitters to a higher level of professionalism and responsibility (there almost 20% 'fee' certainly would allow for this) To reiterate, the service is great, most of the sitters are good but the office and accounting practices need a serious overhaul. ps. The excuse given for holding the money in advance is just not good enough. It does not create trust fro your customers, in fact it creates dis-trust because you are holding the funds for no good reason well in advance of the requirement. Please do not excuse from the Sitters perspective, without the customer the Sitters would have nothing to do.

I was really pleased with the system and it allowed for ease of booking a variety of choices for the type of care. You are able to see those locally and their availability. I used the service for dog walking initially and then after several meetings decided other services would be used as well. Overall very happy with Pawshake. Have recommended to friends and family.

App works reasonably well but does seem a little "clunky" and unrefined. However despite this I was matched with a lovely sitter who looked after my dogs perfectly. A very happy pet owner.
