Do not think they verify the petsitters, our sitter profile disappeared after we used her and we had to pay cash. Buyer beware....not worth if for your pets or home safety.

Ne vous fiez pas à l’assurance Pawshake Fausse promesses de garantie et tranquillité d’esprit Nous avons utilisé Pawshake comme propietaires et comme gardiens et nous avons remarqué que le gardien est toujours perdant, puisque les temps des services sont toujours calculés à la baise (les services de famille d’accueil réservent toujours 1 journée de plus de ce qui est calculé dans les prix). Aussi, l’assurance ne couvre rien d’autre que les lésions du chien en garde, peu importe si le gardien, son chien ou un membre de sa famille est ataqué ou si, malgré les indications du gardien, le chien cause un dommage matériel sur des biens du propriétaire ou une tierce personne (quoi que sur leur site c’est annoncé que vous êtes couverts). L’utilisation de cette application n’est sans péril de perte pour le gardien. Nous l’avons appris, malheureusement, en l’utilisant, avec des dommages irréversibles que nous avons du payer (en ayant ainsi perdu pour garder des chiens, ce qui demande une grande inversion de temps et énergie). Ne vous en fiez pas, vous n’êtes à l’abri de rien...

Previously used Pawshake in the past with no problems. We went away for 5 and half weeks from the end of November and returned on New Years day. Our sitter was looking after our dog and 2 cats (both toilet trained). Upon returning home, the house is full of cat wee and poo all over the carpet! The house absolutely stinks!! We had no idea this was happening, as the only contact we got was when we asked if everything was ok??! Obviously things were not ok and if we had known this was happening would have organised a cattery. We have contacted Pawshake and told them we are not happy. They responded with they don’t cover property damage and have we brought it up with the pet sitter. And yes we did bring it up with the sitter. She has said that she didn’t want to go upstairs because of privacy reasons and did anyway at some point to put another litter tray there. There was also at least one poo ‘cleaned up’. The carpet is disgusting and had only just been cleaned a couple of weeks before we left. We have spent two days trying to clean it as the next appointment available to get it professionally cleaned (again!!) is next week. The house is revolting. To say I’m unimpressed doesn’t cover it.

Helaas pawshake klantenservice is niet te bereiken ongekend... Na meerdere malen getracht contact te hebben, is het me niet gelukt, enkel per email te bereiken en dan nog amper respons dagen later pas... De oppassers ben ik zeer over te spreken maar over pawshake zelf totaal niet!

I haven't actually been able to book a sitter. Out of 4 that I contacted whose calendars all showed as 'available' on the dates that I wanted (which was 10 days away), one organised a meet and greet and then at the last minute said they were now working on the dates I requested. Her profile said she is a student so spends a lot of time at the house when house sitting, which was what I wanted.The other 3 all responded that they were not available. Pretty disappointing. I'm not going to bother trying any of the others, will just cancel my trip.

This platform is difficult to use. There is no customer service, by that I mean there is an email address that takes for ever to respond and the people on the other end have an awful attitude. They block accounts with the stupidest reasons i.e. you didn’t respond to a message quickly enough. They won’t tell you that you were blocked you have to work that out for yourself. I know someone who has been banned from their platform because he dared to challenge them for blocking his account over Christmas season- the busiest time of the year! Appalling!! Look at Another platform instead there are others that are also much better systems and easier to use. Update- I don’t really want my account banned for putting up negative feedback like my friends has as I still have bookings to attend to. He is still waiting for someone to call him back after many weeks and has been left in a situation where he can’t send photo updates to his existing clients. I tried to convince him ages ago to switch to MadPaws and he stuck with you guys, is an incredible sitter with fantastic reviews and he was banned because of Pawshakes ‘pack mentality’ as described by one of your delightful team.

Katastrophe: 5 Wochen vor Weihnachten wurde meine Buchung storniert, Alternativen gab es keine außer getrennte Unterbringung unserer Hunde (für 3 Wochen!) und Haussitter. Sorry, aber das geht gar nicht bei einer so genannten Buchungsgarantie.

Tja. Vi kom aldrig i gang med deres service. Alle deres sittere virkede søde og veluddannede ud fra deres tekster. De brænder bare en af eller svarer ikke. Eller jo, via appen svarer de, fordi det er en del af deres rating. Men derefter brænder de en af på skammeligste vis eller ignorerer bare én. For mig virker det som et useriøst foretagende.
